Cordless trimmers without battery cost from €49.90 for Total and €64.90 for Graphite, through Einhell from €84.90 to €149, to €229 and €299 for DeWalt. The Stihl HSA 26 costs €136.90, the HSA 45 €139.99, the HSA 30 with battery €159.79, the HSA 50.1 €177 without battery and €269.90 with battery, and the telescopic HLA 56 and HLA 86 without battery €269.90 and €555.90. Which hedge trimmer to choose
Manual shears are enough for a low hedge, shaping box and a few metres of hedge. Corded trimmers are light and cheap, but the cable gets in the way and you must take care not to cut it. Cordless trimmers are the most practical for a home garden, and the version without battery pays off if you already own a battery of the same brand. Petrol and telescopic trimmers are for long and tall hedges, and telescopic ones reach the top without a ladder.
Look at the blade length, because a longer blade cuts a wide hedge faster while a shorter one is lighter and more precise, and at the tooth spacing, which decides how thick a branch the trimmer can cut. What the EU requires for noise marking
In Article 13, Directive 2000/14/EC on noise emission by equipment for use outdoors lists hedge trimmers among the equipment subject to noise marking only. Under Article 11(2), the CE marking must be accompanied by the guaranteed sound power level, and under paragraph 3 both markings must be visible, legible and indelible on each item of equipment.
Montenegro is not an EU member, but the marking on the machine helps here too: compare the guaranteed sound power level of two models before buying, because the difference between cordless and petrol trimmers is large. When working, wear hearing protection, goggles and gloves, and respect your neighbours' quiet hours.

We did not count spare blades, tool sets, loppers, vine pruners or grass shears, and at Okov the search showed only the first page of results. We counted cordless trimmers as they are listed, with or without a battery, and two listings of the same model from the same seller once. We did not measure noise or cutting speed.
