Methodology, editorial standards and corrections

Every price in a guide has a source and the date we read it. We use sources in this order of priority:

1. Official tariffs and decisions. Price lists of public utilities and decisions of bodies that set or approve prices: for example Vodovod i kanalizacija Podgorica, Čistoća Podgorica, REGAGEN decisions and the Government decision on the maximum price of wood pellets.
2. Public shop prices. Prices from shop websites (e.g. KIPS, Okov, Cerovo, Tehnomax), read product by product, with the date read.
3. Published contractor price lists. Labour prices that contractors publish themselves (e.g. Gradjevina.org, Emanuel Gruppe), with the page's last-updated date where it is given.
4. Glatko platform data. Numbers of verified professionals, cities, languages and requests from our database — always with N (how many records a figure rests on) and a date. Hourly rates that professionals type into their profiles are not a price list: in the price guide we show them only as the professionals' own statement, with N, and only once an area has at least three.
5. Classified ads and media. When no other source exists, we use classified ads (e.g. oglasi.me) or news reports (e.g. RTCG) and say so.

Two-source rule: for every price we look for at least two independent sources. When there is only one, the table names that single source. When two sites publish the same price list, we count them as one source, not as two confirmations.

Ranges, not averages: we publish the from–to range the sources give — “From” is the lowest and “To” the highest published price. An average of a few price lists would not be a measurement, so we do not compute one.

What we don't know, we say: if a price cannot be found in a verifiable source, the guide says so instead of guessing.

Updates: the price guide refreshes itself when a guide changes (within an hour at the latest), and every table carries the date its source was read. The plan is to review the price guide as a whole every three months.

In preparation: a structured price survey among verified professionals on Glatko. We will publish results only once they are collected, with the number of responses (N) and the date.

Guides are signed by the Glatko editorial team (Uredništvo Glatka). Drafts are prepared with the help of digital tools, including AI tools, following the editors' written rules; every figure is checked against its cited source before publication.

The editor-in-chief is Av. Rohat Kahraman, an attorney registered with the Kocaeli Bar Association (no. 4440), a founding partner of RoNa Legal (corporate, cross-border, investment and tax law between Türkiye and Montenegro; offices in İzmit and Budva) and the founder of Glatko. He is responsible for the editorial rules, the choice of sources and corrections.

How a guide is made

1. Topic: before writing we check what people in Montenegro actually search for and whether the topic belongs on Glatko (services, tradespeople, prices, moving). Topics that belong to another site are not written.
2. Original data: every guide needs at least one element of its own — platform data with N, city and date, an original table or an on-the-spot check.
3. Two checks before publishing: first the facts — every price, deadline, rate and condition is reopened in its source and compared; then the structure — links, questions and answers, length.
4. Automatic gate: the system refuses to publish a guide with no independent source (e.g. MONSTAT or gov.me), no original data, an internal link to an article that does not exist, or more than two links to related sites.
5. Translations: guides are also published in other languages; in every translation we check that all figures match the original.
6. After publishing: we check that the page is live and that its title and description are correct.

We do not invent figures or turn a single job into “the market”: where there is no data, we say so.

As of the last update of this page:

• Glatko is free for customers: posting a request and receiving quotes cost nothing. Glatko does not currently process payments or take a commission on jobs.
• Ranking cannot be bought. On service pages professionals are ordered by rating; search ranks by match with the query, number of reviews and rating; a request is sent to professionals according to profile completeness, distance, response time, rating and how close their hourly rate is to the median, with a small random element so that work is spread fairly.
• The verification level (basic, business, professional) depends only on documents Glatko has checked — business registration, licence and insurance — and cannot be bought.
• The founding badge goes free of charge to the first 50 approved professionals; it cannot be bought.
• There are no paid mentions in the guides or the price guide: prices come from the cited sources, and professionals do not pay to be mentioned.
• Announced: the founding programme announces paid featured placements in search from May 2027. No paid form of visibility exists today; when one is introduced, this page will describe what it covers.

Glatko is a service of RONA LEGAL DOO (tax ID 04390768, Budva). The same company also owns RoNa Legal (ronalegal.com) and Fijaka (fijaka.com). When a guide points to one of them, it is a link to a related site; a guide has at most two such links.
