On 29 September 2026 circular saws cost from €55.90 for a cordless Worker Best saw without battery at Okov to €1,599.90 for a Makita LF1000 table saw at KIPS, with a median of €229.00 across 65 saws from two shops. A corded handheld saw has a median of €154.99, a cordless one €149.00, and table, mitre and sliding saws €299.62. A circular saw blade costs from €5.99 to €204.90, with a median of €31.25.

What people search for
On 29 September 2026 Google Trends showed zero for cirkular (circular saw) in Montenegro in the weeks displayed over the past 12 months, so search volume is too small to measure.
On the same day Google completed cirkular with the phrases cirkular za drvo (for wood), cirkular za trimer (for a brushcutter), cirkular za trimer stihl, cirkular okov and cirkular za drvo okov, and kruzna testera (circular saw) with za drvo (for wood), za metal (for metal), za beton (for concrete), za rupe (hole saw) and woby haus (a shop). So cirkular means both the saw and the blade, and some people are looking for a brushcutter blade, which we do not cover here.

At Okov we took 34 circular saws from six searches, with a median of €191.63, and 10 blades. A corded handheld saw costs from €69.90 for an unbranded 1200 W model, €89.90 for Worker Best, €109.00 for Einhell and €119.00 for Hikoki and Bosch PKS 55, up to €311.25 for the Bosch GKS 85 G. Cordless saws cost from €55.90 for Worker Best and €69.90 for Graphite up to €369.00 for DeWalt, Einhell from €109.00 to €189.00 and the Bosch GKS 185-Li €201.75, mostly without battery.
Mitre and table saws cost from €129.90 for a cordless Total and €194.25 for the Bosch GCM 216, through €299.25 for the Bosch GTS 254 and GCM 254, up to €975.00 for the Bosch GTS 10 XC and €990.00 for DeWalt, and a Maker site saw €1,300.00. Blades cost €10.99 and €14.99 for Total, €15.99 for a 190 mm Bosch, €23.90 for Wolfcraft, and multi-material Bosch from €34.90 to €69.90.
Circular saws at KIPS
At KIPS we took 31 circular saws from seven searches, with a median of €319.00, and 32 blades. An Ingco handheld saw costs €58.99 and €79.90, and Makita from €149.99 to €389.99 for a plunge saw, and €919.00 for the large model 5143R. Cordless Ingco saws cost €79.99 and €84.90, and Makita from €104.90 to €966.75, mostly without battery.
Ingco mitre saws cost from €99.99 to €229.00 and Makita from €439.00 to €1,290.00, while a Makita table saw costs up to €1,599.90. Metal cut-off saws cost €199.00 for Ingco and €299.99 for Makita. MTX 190 mm blades cost €5.99 and €6.29, Ingco sets €9.99 and €17.99, and Makita from €9.99 to €204.90 for a sandwich panel blade.
What a 190 mm blade costs
A 190 mm wood blade costs €5.99 and €6.29 for MTX, from €9.99 to €12.99 for Makita with 24 to 40 teeth, €15.99 for Bosch with 48 teeth and €23.90 for Wolfcraft, and a multi-purpose Makita €21.90. More teeth give a cleaner cut in panels and laminate, fewer teeth a faster cut in timber. A blade for aluminium and metal has special teeth and costs more.
Which circular saw to choose
For the home and occasional cutting of boards and OSB panels a 1200 to 1400 W handheld saw with a 185 or 190 mm blade is enough, cutting to a depth of about 60 mm. A cordless saw is handy on a terrace or roof without power, but the price often does not include the battery and charger. A mitre saw is for accurate angled cuts of battens, skirting and floorboards, and a table saw for ripping panels.
A circular saw is one of the most dangerous hand tools, because the blade can throw a piece back. Work with both hands, with safety glasses and ear protection, do not remove the blade guard and do not cut pieces you hold in your hand. For bigger jobs on a house leave the cutting to a provider with the right machine.

Which standards the EU publishes for table and mitre saws
Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2019/436, in the consolidated version of 11 October 2023, publishes in Article 1 the harmonised standards for machinery under Directive 2006/42/EC, listed in Annex I. Among them are EN 62841-3-1:2014 for transportable table saws, EN 62841-3-9:2015 for transportable mitre saws and EN 62841-3-10:2015 for transportable cut-off machines.
A machine built to a published harmonised standard is presumed to conform to the essential requirements of the Directive, such as the blade guard, brake and prevention of unexpected start-up. Montenegro is not an EU member, but saws from well-known brands are also sold in the EU, so look for the CE mark and the standard's name on the rating plate and in the manual.

What to check before buying
- Blade diameter: 165, 185 or 190 mm for a handheld saw.
- Cutting depth: about 60 mm for rough timber.
- Power or battery: watts or voltage and whether the battery is included.
- Guide: a parallel fence or rail for a straight cut.
- Protection: a moving blade guard and a motor brake.

We copied prices from Okov and KIPS on the day of the check; the medians are ours, and sale prices were taken as displayed. We did not count tile saws, brushcutter blades, guide rails, stands or other accessories. Type and power were taken from product names. We did not measure cutting depth, noise or vibration.
