Wall plugs in Montenegro: prices per piece of nylon, universal, frame, hammer-in and steel anchors and plasterboard plugs from Fischer and Friulsider (2026)
On 29 September 2026 a wall plug costs from €0.05 for a nylon plug of 4 to 8 mm at KIPS to €2.25 for a long 10 mm frame plug with a screw in the same shop, with a median of €0.40 across 105 plugs that KIPS sells by the piece. Nylon plugs have a median of €0.10, universal expanding plugs €0.25, and a plug for plasterboard and hollow walls costs from €0.15 to €1.19.
A wall plug is the cheapest part of any installation, but the wrong plug means a shelf or cabinet coming off the wall, and for larger work on walls, facades and interiors on Glatko you can send a request for construction and renovation work for free and without an account. Wall plugs at KIPS
At KIPS the search for tipl returned 105 plugs sold by the piece, with a median of €0.40. A nylon plug costs €0.05 each from 4x20 to 8x40, €0.15 for 10x50, €0.19 for 12x60, and €0.55 and €0.65 for 16x80 and 14x80. Friulsider TMT universal expanding plugs cost from €0.09 for 6x30 to €0.65 for 10x160, and an expanding plug with a collar 14x70 €1.05.
FM-X3 frame plugs with screws cost from €0.35 for 6x35 to €2.25 for 10x160, and hammer-in plugs with screws from €0.09 for 5x40 and 6x40 to €1.05 for 10x120. Metal hollow wall anchors cost from €0.19 to €1.19, plastic plasterboard plugs €0.15 each and a Rawlplug metal plasterboard plug €0.40. Aerated concrete plugs cost €0.39, €0.59 and €0.75, and insulation plugs with screws from €1.09 to €1.25.

Wall plugs at Okov
At Okov we found 6 packs of 100 plugs, with a median of €3.94. NHZ hammer-in plugs cost €2.85 for 5x35 and €3.15 for 6x40, the nylon Turbo 10x35 €3.68 and the standard UPA/L 10x50 €4.20. Fischer Duopower costs €4.49 for 5x25 and €14.93 for 6x50, all discounted. A water heater set of two 14x80 plugs with screws costs €1.59 and €1.79, and 100 plasterboard screws from €1.40 to €5.70.
Which wall plug to choose
For solid concrete and solid brick a nylon plug is enough, while a universal expanding plug works in both solid and hollow block, because it knots up in the cavity. For plasterboard take a plasterboard plug or a metal hollow wall anchor that spreads behind the board, because an ordinary plug does not hold in plasterboard. Aerated concrete has special plugs with wide ribs, and polystyrene on facades uses plugs with a washer head.
A frame plug with a long screw is for window and door frames and for fixing through battens, and a hammer-in plug for quick fitting of skirting and brackets. For heavy loads such as a water heater, kitchen units or a TV bracket choose a steel anchor or a water heater set and follow the manufacturer's instructions on hole depth and load capacity. The hole must match the plug diameter, and the screw should be long enough to pass through the plug.

What the EU requires of construction products
Regulation (EU) No 305/2011 on construction products requires in Article 4 that the manufacturer draws up a declaration of performance when a product is covered by a harmonised standard or conforms to a European Technical Assessment issued for it. Under Article 8 the CE marking may only be affixed to a product for which such a declaration exists, and by it the manufacturer takes responsibility for the declared performance.
Article 9 requires the CE marking to be visible, legible and indelible on the product or a label, or, where that is not possible, on the packaging or accompanying documents. Montenegro is not an EU member, but for heavy loads on concrete an anchor with a CE marking and a European Technical Assessment gives load data that an ordinary plug does not.

What to check before buying
- Wall: concrete, brick, block, plasterboard or aerated concrete.
- Diameter and length: according to the load and wall thickness.
- Screw: whether it comes with the plug and how long it is.
- Load: a steel anchor or water heater set for heavy items.
- Markings: CE and a European Technical Assessment for heavy loads.
How we measured and what we did not measure
We copied the prices from KIPS and Okov on the day of the check; the medians are ours. We did not count wooden dowels, screws without plugs, pipe clamps or tools, and at Okov the search showed only the first page of results and we left out packs whose size was unclear. We took type and size from the product names. We did not measure the load capacity of the plugs.
