Gutters in Montenegro: Price per Metre for Metal and PVC Gutters, Fittings and Installation (2026)
A horizontal gutter of coated steel sheet cost €17.99 for 4 m, €22.39 for 5 m and €27.09 for 6 m at KIPS on 26 September 2026, about €4.50 a metre, and a Dakota PVC gutter at Okov €12.99 for 3 m, about €4.33 a metre. With fabrication and installation, the Podgorica firm Emanuel Gruppe quotes €15 to €25 a metre for gutters and downpipes, so the material is the smaller part of the price.

What people search for
On 26 September 2026 Google completed oluci (gutters) with podgorica, kips, okov, crna gora (Montenegro), za krov (for the roof) and uradi sam (DIY), and oluci cijena (gutter price) with oluci cijena po metru crna gora (gutter price per metre Montenegro). With oluci uradi sam it offered cena (price), pvc oluci uradi sam and plastični oluci uradi sam (plastic gutters DIY). In Google Trends for Montenegro, oluci had a visible jump over 12 months only in the week of 19 April 2026, and regional interest comes from Podgorica. In English and Russian Google offered no suggestions for gutters in Montenegro.
Coated steel gutters
On 26 September 2026 KIPS had 57 gutter products, almost all made by Pan-Komerc, in four colours: brown, white, grey and anthracite. According to the product description, the gutters are coated steel sheet with a zinc coating of 140 g/m², polyester paint of 20 microns and a primer of 7 microns. KIPS also sells spray paint for gutters and sheet metal, from €6.14 for brown and grey to €8.80 for white.
PVC gutters
Okov sells the Dakota PVC gutter system in brown, with a G125 gutter and an Ø 80 downpipe:

PVC is slightly cheaper per metre than metal, but in the Dakota system a bracket costs €8.49, three times as much as a metal hook, so the total price depends on how many brackets the installer plans.
What installation costs
Emanuel Gruppe of Podgorica publishes prices for sheet-metal work including material, fabrication and installation, on a page last modified on 24 October 2025: fitting gutters and downpipes €15 to €25 a metre, flashing around chimneys, windows and joints €20 to €35 a piece, and ridge pieces, barge boards and edge flashing €10 to €18 a metre. According to the same page, copper and titanium zinc cost extra.
As an older comparison, the author of the blog Moj povratak na selo received an offer in 2023 of about €10 a metre for a house with 39 running metres, plus up to €60 per downpipe opening and €50 per chimney flashing.
Example: one side of a house
This is our calculation for 10 m of gutter and one 5 m downpipe, based on KIPS prices of 26 September 2026:
- Material without hooks and clips: two 5 m gutters €44.78, downpipe €22.39, outlet €4.70, two elbows €6 and two end caps €1.78, €79.65 in total.
- With installation at Emanuel Gruppe rates: 15 m of system at €15 to €25, €225 to €375.
- Difference: the material is about a fifth to a third of the installed price, and the rest is labour and fittings we did not count, such as hooks and clips.
Cleaning gutters and the law
Under the Residential Buildings Maintenance Act, Article 10, cleaning drain grates, gullies and gutters and repairing roofs are regular maintenance of the common parts of a building, and under Article 12 repairing damaged parts of the roof is urgent work that the building manager must arrange without delay. In a block of flats you therefore report a blocked gutter to the manager. For a house, Okov sells a PVC gutter guard against debris for €1.10, Ananas a Maurer leaf guard for €0.79, and the Kärcher PC20 gutter cleaning set costs €114.90.

Who does this on Glatko
On 26 September 2026 Glatko had no verified professional in the roofing category, and the only request, from Ulcinj on 18 June 2026, had expired. There were 23 verified professionals in construction and finishing work, one of them a firm from Bar that also lists roof waterproofing. The invoice of a registered professional goes through the Tax Administration's electronic fiscalisation system.
What to ask the sheet-metal worker
- Whether the price per metre includes material, hooks and downpipes.
- How many hooks go per metre and what they are made of.
- Whether scaffolding and removing the old gutters are included.
- What sheet is used: galvanised, coated or copper, and how thick.
- How long the warranty is on the material and the joints.
What we did not measure
Material prices come from two shops on the day we read them, and installation prices from one firm and one older blog. We did not check how many hooks installers actually fit per metre, nor the prices of copper and aluminium gutters, which we did not find published.
