Front and Security Doors in Montenegro: Prices for a Flat and a House (2026)

In Montenegro front doors are searched for by type and by town: on 24 September 2026 Google completed sigurnosna vrata (security doors) with crna gora (Montenegro), podgorica, za stan (for a flat), po meri (made to measure) and cena sa ugradnjom (price with fitting), and ulazna vrata podgorica (front doors Podgorica) with cijene (prices), pvc, aluminijumska (aluminium), eloksirana (anodised), blind (steel), za kucu (for a house), za stan (for a flat) and polovna (second-hand). The same searches in English and Russian return nothing for Montenegro.

This guide gives prices from two Montenegrin shops, what you get for the money, published fitting prices and the difference between a door for a flat in a building and a door for a house.

Shop prices

On 24 September 2026 we went through every steel and security door and every PVC front door in the online shop of KIPS in Podgorica:

The steel and security doors are 89 or 96 cm wide and 205 cm high, and the shop lists all 26 as indoor-use doors, meaning the entrance to a flat from a building corridor. For two models it additionally states fitting on the outer wall.

What a higher price buys

Door Expert, a security door seller, publishes a specification with every price on its website, so the grades can be compared:

With interior casings Standard costs €709, Premium €799 and Deluxe €899. The models for flats have a rock-wool core, and all have a thermal break and two locks; handles are included, fitting is not. The seller describes the house model as resistant to rain, snow and sun, measuring 100 × 205 cm.

The step from €559 to €749 in this price list buys thicker steel, more locking points and a third hinge. For a door on a building corridor that is usually enough; for a house where the door faces rain and sun directly, you need a model intended for exterior use.

What fitting costs

Emanuel Gruppe of Podgorica publishes prices for front doors including fitting:

RC2 to RC4 are burglar-resistance classes; if a seller quotes one, ask for the test document for that model. The shops whose prices we list above did not state an RC class for their models.

Example: a door for a flat in a building

This is our calculation from the published prices, not a quote:

• steel door from the shop: from €259.99, without fitting;
• Standard security door with casings: €709, without fitting;
• RC2 burglar-resistant door with fitting, per the contractor's price list: €700 to €950.

For doors bought without fitting, arrange fitting separately and ask about the masonry work around the frame, because security doors are anchored into the wall and the reveals need finishing afterwards.

What to ask before buying

1. Indoor or exterior fitting: a door on a building corridor and a door out in the rain are not the same product.
2. Opening size: 89, 96 or 100 cm wide, and the opening direction.
3. Steel thickness, number of locking points and hinges.
4. Burglar-resistance class, if stated, with a document.
5. What the price includes: handles, cylinder, casings, fitting and removal of the old door.
6. A fiscal invoice and a written guarantee.

What the seller is liable for

Under the Consumer Protection Act in force since 14 February 2026, the trader is liable for any lack of conformity that appears within two years of delivery, and where the trader fits the door as part of the purchase, delivery is deemed to be the completion of fitting. If you buy the door in a shop and another tradesperson fits it, the tradesperson is responsible for the fitting, so keep both invoices.

What the classifieds show

On 24 September 2026, of the 1,399 listings in the Servisi i usluge (services) section of oglasi.me, one from Podgorica offered selling and fitting steel doors and PVC joinery, and another installing and servicing aluminium and PVC doors; neither gave a price.

Who fits doors on Glatko

On 24 September 2026 the doors and windows category had one verified profile, a family firm from Podgorica that makes aluminium and PVC joinery and lists entrance portals in its description. Of the 25 requests the platform received between 24 April and 28 June 2026, none was for a front door.

What we did not measure

We did not check the actual burglar resistance of the doors, prices in other shops or actual fitting prices in quotes. The prices are a snapshot of one day.
