Interior Doors in Montenegro: Shop Prices and What Fitting Costs (2026)

In Montenegro interior doors are searched for by town and with a price: on 24 September 2026 Google completed sobna vrata (interior doors) with crna gora (Montenegro), crna gora cijena (Montenegro price), podgorica cijena (Podgorica price), niksic cijena (Nikšić price), tuzi, bijelo polje and the name of a Podgorica shop. In Russian the query межкомнатные двери черногория exists, while in English the same search returns nothing for Montenegro.

This guide gives the prices of every interior door in one Montenegrin online shop, grouped by type, published fitting prices and a calculation for a flat with four doors.

Shop prices

On 24 September 2026 we went through all 100 interior doors in the online shop of KIPS in Podgorica and grouped them by type of finish, as stated on each product page:

The median price of all 100 models was €241.99. Eighteen foil models were on sale that day: some from €218.99 to €169.99, others from €289.99 to €229.99. The veneered doors include two display pieces and one sample, and one model is sold without a frame, so with the most expensive items check exactly what you are buying.

Width, wall and core

All the doors are 205 cm high. Most models are 90 cm wide, 48 of them, and 26 each are 80 and 70 cm. On 85 models the frame adjusts to walls from 13 to 28 cm thick, while the Ekonomik doors have a fixed frame for a 15 cm wall. Measure the wall thickness including plaster and tiles before buying, because the frame cannot be extended later without an extra element; KIPS sells these for €15.39 to €25.29.

As for the core, six foil models have a honeycomb paper core and 11 panelled models solid chipboard. The shop says solid chipboard gives better sound insulation and more strength. For a bedroom next to the living room, that is a difference you will hear. The product pages do not make clear whether the handle and lock are included, so ask before you order.

What fitting costs

The table does not make clear whether the first row includes the door itself. If it does, it is below the shop price of veneered doors, so ask for the door leaf, frame, hardware and labour as separate items in the quote.

Example: a flat with four doors

This is our calculation from the shop prices, for four 80 cm doors:

• Ekonomik: 4 × €116.99 = €467.96;
• foil, on sale: 4 × €169.99 = €679.96;
• white CPL, 13–28 cm frame: 4 × €279.99 = €1,119.96;
• white painted: 4 × €363.99 = €1,455.96.

If you are replacing doors in existing openings, labour for four doors at the published replacement price comes to €400 to €600. If the floor is being replaced at the same time, the doors go in after the floor: new laminate raises the level, so the leaves are shortened or the frame is trimmed.

What the classifieds show

On 24 September 2026, of the 1,399 listings in the Servisi i usluge (services) section of oglasi.me, four Montenegrin ones offered making, selling or fitting doors, three from Podgorica and one from Tivat. Only one, from Podgorica and dated 2023, gave a price, €190, without saying what it covers.

What the seller is liable for

Under the Consumer Protection Act in force since 14 February 2026, the trader is liable for any lack of conformity that appears within two years of delivery. Where fitting is part of the purchase and carried out by the trader, delivery is deemed to be the completion of fitting. Keep the receipt and photograph the model label on the packaging, so that you can buy the same door later.

What to check before buying

1. Opening width and swing direction: a left or right door, seen from the side it opens towards.
2. Wall thickness: a 13–28 cm adjustable frame or a fixed 15 cm one.
3. Door core: honeycomb or solid chipboard, because of sound.
4. What the price includes: handle, lock, hinges and trims.
5. Delivery time and who fits the door, in writing.
6. A fiscal invoice for the door and for the fitting.

Who fits doors on Glatko

On 24 September 2026 the doors and windows category had one verified profile, a family firm from Podgorica that makes aluminium and PVC windows and doors. No profile specifically lists fitting interior doors, and one Podgorica renovation firm mentions joinery in its description. Of the 25 requests the platform received between 24 April and 28 June 2026, none was for interior doors.
