Sandwich Panels and Polycarbonate in Montenegro: Prices per m² for Canopies, Terraces and Outbuildings (2026)
On 25 September 2026, roof sandwich panels at KIPS in Podgorica cost from €27.19 per m² for a 30 mm panel to €32.56 per m² on sale for a 40 mm panel that looks like roof tiles, and a 40 mm wall panel cost €18.88 per m². Multiwall polycarbonate costs from €8.11 per m² for a clear 4 mm sheet to €25.79 per m² for a 16 mm sheet, and ready-made door canopies at Okov cost from €59.90 to €169.90.

What people search for
On 25 September 2026, Google completed sendvič paneli (sandwich panels) with cijena m2 (price per m²), za krov (for the roof), crna gora (Montenegro), podgorica and akcija (sale), and sendvic paneli also with crna gora cijena okov (Montenegro price Okov), ulcinj, niksic and bijelo polje. With krovni paneli (roof panels) people search imitacija crepa cena (tile imitation price), with polikarbonat polikarbonatne ploče cijena m2 (polycarbonate sheets price per m²), polikarbonat za terase (polycarbonate for terraces) and plastenik polikarbonat cijena (polycarbonate greenhouse price), and with nadstrešnica (canopy) za auto (for a car), za terasu (for a terrace), okov, za vrata (for a door) and kips. In English and Russian, Google offered no suggestions for these products in Montenegro.

On 25 September 2026, KIPS had 7 products in its sandwich panel category, all with a useful width of 1 m, and the roof panels with a polyurethane core. The 50 mm panel costs €4.48 per m² more than the 30 mm panel. For the 30 and 50 mm roof panels, KIPS gives a minimum pitch of 5°, lower only under special conditions. For the wall panel it gives a 3-year warranty on colour shade and corrosion, but only if the panel is installed 1000 metres or more from the sea, which is an important condition on the coast.

A full 2.1 × 6 m multiwall sheet is 12.6 m², so a clear 4 mm sheet comes to €102.19, a 10 mm sheet to €190.39 and a 16 mm sheet to €324.95. A clear 6 mm sheet costs €12.90 per m², and opal 6 mm is €9.97 on sale.
Multiwall, solid or corrugated polycarbonate
Multiwall polycarbonate has channels between two layers, so it is light: according to KIPS, a 4 mm sheet weighs 0.8 kg per m², a 6 mm sheet 1.3 kg and a 10 mm sheet 1.7 kg. Solid polycarbonate is a single rigid sheet and the most expensive: by our calculation a 1000 × 2050 mm sheet comes to €46.87 per m² and a 2050 × 3050 mm sheet to €41.76 per m². A 0.8 mm corrugated sheet comes to €24.91 per m² of gross area, before overlaps.
The small 1.05 × 2 m sheets are handy for a smaller canopy but cost more per m²: a 4 mm sheet comes to €9.12 per m², 6 mm to €13.51 and 10 mm to €15.63, against €8.11, €12.90 and €15.11 for the large sheets.
Profiles and accessories for polycarbonate
A multiwall sheet has to be sealed and fixed, and KIPS sells the accessories separately:
- Aluminium cover profile: €38.99 for 6 m.
- Aluminium U profile for 10 mm: €7.44 for 2.1 m or €21.27 for 6 m.
- Anti-dust tape, 38 mm: €1.18 per metre; it seals the sheet edges and lets moisture out of the channels.
- End cap for a 10 mm sheet: €0.51 each.
Ready-made door canopies
Ready-made canopies keep the rain off a front door. On 25 September 2026, Okov had 8 Biacchi canopies, from €59.90 for 120 × 80 cm to €169.90 for an aluminium one of 90 × 140 cm; on the pages of the 120 × 80 and 150 × 100 cm models the material is given as polycarbonate, on the second one together with ABS and aluminium. On Ananas, the seller GROUP TRADE had 8 Multigarden and ModernHome canopies, from €76.50 for 100 × 80 cm to €165.75 for a clear one of 140 × 90 cm, all on sale, and KIPS had one of 1 × 1.2 m in Lexan for €76.45.
Example: a 15 m² roof covering
For a 3 × 5 m carport or a terrace of the same area, this is our calculation for the covering material only, at the per-m² prices from KIPS:
- Multiwall polycarbonate 10 mm, clear: €226.65.
- Multiwall polycarbonate 16 mm: €386.85.
- Roof sandwich panel 30 mm: €407.85.
- Roof panel 40 mm, tile look: €488.40 at the sale price.
The difference between the cheapest and the most expensive covering is €261.75, and it does not include the metal or timber substructure, profiles, screws or labour.
Panel or polycarbonate
Polycarbonate lets light through, so it suits a terrace, an entrance or a greenhouse, but it does not insulate like a panel. A sandwich panel is opaque and insulates, so it is better for a garage, shed, workshop or outbuilding used in winter. Before building in a courtyard
For a panel garage or hall that goes into a building design, an engineer calculates the structure. A new rulebook on technical requirements for building structures, which also covers steel and aluminium structures, applies from 12 March 2027 and requires an extraordinary inspection of the structure after heavy snowfall and unusually strong wind, as RoNa Legal explains in its reading of the rulebook. If you live in an apartment building, a carport in the courtyard is not your decision alone; Fijaka explains in its guide to buying a garage or parking space that the building plot is in the joint indivisible ownership of the owners of the separate units, so a space in the courtyard cannot be bought on its own.

On 25 September 2026, Glatko had 23 verified contractors in construction and renovation, but none of them mentioned sandwich panels, polycarbonate or canopies in their profile description. The invoice of a registered contractor goes through the Tax Administration's electronic fiscalisation system.
What to ask the contractor
- Which panel or which sheet, how thick and from which manufacturer.
- What the substructure is and how far apart the supports are.
- What the pitch is and where the water runs off the roof.
- Whether profiles, tapes, screws and flashings are included in the price.
- How long the warranty is and whether it applies near the sea.
What we did not measure
The prices come from three shops on the day of reading; we found no published price for installing panels or polycarbonate per m². We did not compare snow and wind load capacity, and we do not give a price for panel screws because the pack unit on the page is unclear.
