Radiators and Central Heating in Montenegro: What a Section, a Towel Radiator, a Boiler, a Pump and Installation Cost (2026)

On 25 September 2026 an aluminium radiator section cost €20.99 to €21.50 at Okov, a towel radiator for central heating cost from €39 to €136.03 at Okov and KIPS, a circulation pump €89.90 to €94.90, and a pellet stove or boiler for central heating from €1,645 to €3,141. Montenegrin installers do not publish their labour prices: none of the four central heating ads on oglasi.me had one, and the Croatian portal Trebam.hr puts fitting and connecting one radiator at €69 to €88.

What people search for

On 25 September 2026 Google's first suggestion for radijatori (radiators) was radijatori za centralno grijanje crna gora (central heating radiators Montenegro), followed by okov and cijena crna gora (price Montenegro); for centralno grijanje (central heating) it suggested podgorica. According to Google Keyword Planner, radijatori was searched between 100 and 1,000 times a month in Montenegro, in Serbian, from September 2025 to August 2026. In Google Trends for Montenegro, radijatori had an average index about twice that of vodoinstalater (plumber) over the last 12 months.

Radiator prices

Okov lists 16 products in its central heating radiator category: two Global VOX aluminium sections and 14 Moderatom towel radiators. KIPS lists 30 products in its radiator category, ten of them LUX towel radiators for central heating; most of the rest are electric panels and heating elements, covered in our guide to electric heating. The shorter VOX 700 section costs more than the longer VOX 800 and gives less heat. For the same output the VOX 800 is therefore the better buy: about 11.6 cents per watt against 13.1 cents for the VOX 700. Among towel radiators, a Moderatom of 1200 x 400 mm and 414 W costs €39 and one of 1600 x 600 mm and 762 W €78; at KIPS a LUX of 600 x 1490 mm and 1,352 W costs €111.85.

Neither Okov nor KIPS had steel panel radiators. Climatherm offers Copa Konveks panel radiators marked "price on request", and Mikromont plus in Rožaje lists Sanica, Thermokraft and Global VOX models with a note that the price is currently unavailable.

Boiler, stove and pump

A radiator only gives off the heat it receives from the heat source. Okov had 23 products in its category of boilers, cookers and stoves for central heating, most of them 10% off:

What installation costs

Montenegrin installers do not publish labour prices for central heating. On 25 September 2026, of 456 ads in the Home and Office section of oglasi.me, four offered central heating installation or servicing: one from Mojkovac, refreshed on 3 September 2026, two from Podgorica, from February 2026 and April 2024, and one from Budva in Russian from May 2023. None gave a labour price, only "by agreement" or "on request". The nearest public benchmark is Croatia:

Example: four heated rooms

Suppose a tradesperson has worked out a need of 1,800 W for the living room, 1,000 W for each of two bedrooms and 500 W for the bathroom. The real need depends on insulation, windows and outdoor temperature, so this is a worked calculation, not a recommendation:

• Living room: 1,800 W divided by 181 W is 9.9, so 10 VOX 800 sections giving 1,810 W, for 10 × €20.99 = €209.90.
• Two bedrooms: 6 sections each giving 1,086 W, 12 × €20.99 = €251.88 in total.
• Bathroom: a LUX radiator of 500 x 750 mm and 588 W, €66.32.
• Pump: DAB VA 35/180, €89.90.

The materials from the tables cost €618, without valves, pipes and brackets. Fitting four radiators at the Croatian benchmark would be €276 to €352, so the total is about €894 to €970, without a heat source. If the house has no boiler, a pellet stove for central heating adds at least €1,645 at Okov.

Eko-fond

On 18 May 2026 Eko-fond, the Montenegrin environmental protection fund, opened a public call for individuals, with applications due by 23 July 2026. Measure 5 covered stoves and boilers for wood biomass, pellets or briquettes, with support of 50% and at most €3,000. The deadline has passed; Eko-fond publishes new calls on its calls page. Who does the installation

Radiators and central heating pipes are fitted by plumbers and heating installers. On 25 September 2026 Glatko had ten verified plumbers, six in Podgorica, two in Tivat and one each in Budva and Bar. None of the 25 requests the platform received between 24 April and 28 June 2026 concerned heating. Before you buy, check:

• Output at the same temperature: Okov gives the section output at ΔT 50°C; outputs measured at different temperatures are not comparable.
• Connection: the VOX section has a 1 inch connection, the LUX radiator G1/2.
• Invoice: a registered installer's invoice goes through the tax administration's electronic fiscalisation system.

What we did not measure

We found no published prices for steel panel radiators and no labour prices in Montenegro; the Croatian prices are only a benchmark. We did not calculate heat losses or price valves and pipes. Okov's prices include a discount that may expire.
