LED bulbs in Montenegro: E27, E14, GU10 and G9 prices on Ananas, at KIPS and Okov, lumens instead of watts and what the EU requires on bulb packaging (2026)

On 27 September 2026 an E27 LED bulb at KIPS costs from €0.89 to €36.13, with a median of €2.49 across 74 bulbs, and on Ananas the median is €2.63 across 78 listings. The same 9 W E-light A60 costs €0.89 at KIPS and €2.10 on Ananas. At Okov the first page of the search was full of LED bulbs for cars.

What people search for

Google Trends returned no data for the term led sijalica (LED bulb) in Montenegro. On 27 September 2026 Google completed led sijalica with h7, sa ventilatorom (with a fan), 9w menja (what a low-wattage bulb replaces), za frizider gorenje (for a Gorenje fridge), e27 40w, sa senzorom pokreta cena (with motion sensor, price), e27, treperi (flickers) and sa senzorom dan noc 20w (with day-night sensor). So people look for car bulbs, a replacement for an old bulb, the E27 base, sensors and bulbs that flicker.

Bulbs at KIPS

At KIPS the search returned 338 results, 131 of them bulbs; the rest were strips, floodlights, panels and lamps. All bulbs cost from €0.89 to €36.13, with a median of €2.49. The cheapest is the 9 W E-light A60 with an E27 base, for €0.89.

Many bulb names state the power of the old bulb they replace: a 40 W LED costs €1.49, a 60 W one €1.49 to €2.49, a 75 W one €1.99 and a 100 W one €2.49. The Pila LED labelled 10W-75W uses 10 W and gives as much light as an old 75 W bulb, and costs €1.99. An A60 bulb with a sensor costs €9.99, and a 3 W, 1800 K Rabalux candle-effect bulb €13.39. T8 LED tubes with a G13 base cost €7.99 for 1,200 mm and 16 W and €7.87 for 1,500 mm and 20 W.

Bulbs on Ananas

On Ananas the search returned 254 results. Without car bulbs, strips, lamps, floodlights and panels, 201 bulbs remained, from €0.60 to €56.40, with a median of €2.50. MASS-light sells the most, 117 bulbs.

The Bormann A60 with an E27 base costs €1.19 for 9 W and 820 lm, €1.36 for 12 W and 1,050 lm and €1.55 for 15 W and 1,350 lm. The E-light A60 costs €2.10 for 9 W and €4 for 15 W. E14 bulbs have a median of €1.90, GU10 €2 and G9 €5.90. Dimmable bulbs have a median of €6, and the decorative ML-G200 filament bulbs cost €52.70 and €56.40. The 8 W Xiaomi smart bulb costs €11.40, and the 12 W Maurer with WiFi €9.90.

Bulbs at Okov

At Okov the search returned 1,274 products, and the first page had almost only LED bulbs for cars. The Amio H7 costs from €19.90 to €26.90, the H4 €28.90, and a D2S xenon replacement €49.90. The only bulb for the home was an Emos fridge bulb with an E14 base, 2.3 W and 255 lm, for €1.49.

Lumens, watts and calculation

By our calculation, the 9 W Bormann gives 689 lumens per euro, and the same E-light model is €1.21 cheaper at KIPS than on Ananas. If a bulb is on three hours a day, a 9 W LED uses about 9.9 kWh a year and an old 60 W bulb about 65.7 kWh, a difference of about 55.8 kWh per bulb. When choosing, look at lumens: 820 lm is roughly the light of an old 60 W bulb.

What the EU requires of an LED bulb

Commission Regulation (EU) 2019/2020 on the ecodesign of light sources requires from 1 September 2021 that the luminous flux in lumens is printed on the packaging in a font at least twice as large as the power in watts. The packaging must also show the colour temperature rounded to 100 K, the base and the L70B50 lifetime, meaning the number of hours until half of the bulbs fall below 70 % of their initial light. The colour rendering index must be at least 80, and flicker is limited to a Pst LM of at most 1.0. Montenegro is not an EU member, but a bulb that meets these rules should not visibly flicker.

On Glatko

On 27 September 2026 Glatko had eight verified electricians, six from Podgorica and two from Budva, and 23 verified renovation and construction providers, 13 of them from Podgorica.

What to check before buying

1. The base: E27, E14, GU10 or G9, as on the old bulb.
2. The lumens: about 800 lm for a room instead of an old 60 W bulb.
3. The colour temperature: 2700 to 3000 K warm, 4000 K neutral, 6500 K cool.
4. Dimmability if you have a dimmer switch.
5. The lifetime and warranty on the packaging.

How we measured and what we did not measure

We copied prices from Ananas, KIPS and Okov on the day we read them; the groups, medians, lumens per euro and consumption are ours. We took the base, power and lumens from the name and removed car bulbs, strips, lamps, floodlights and panels. At Okov we read the first page of the search. We did not measure the actual light, flicker or lifetime of the bulbs.
