Laminate Flooring in Montenegro: Price per m², How Many Packs You Need and Who Fits It (2026)

People in Podgorica search for laminate in concrete terms: on 24 September 2026 Google offered cijena (price), akcija (sale), najjeftiniji (cheapest), the brands egger and tarkett, then majstor za laminat (laminate fitter), podloga za laminat (underlay) and lajsne za laminat (skirting boards) alongside laminat podgorica. Postavljanje laminata cijena (laminate fitting price) is completed with Podgorica and Montenegro, and parket cijena (parquet price) with Montenegro and Podgorica too. The same searches in English and Russian return nothing for Montenegro.

This guide gives laminate prices from a Montenegrin shop by thickness, a calculation for a 20 m² room and what is known about the cost of fitting.

Laminate prices per m²

On 24 September 2026 we went through all 28 laminates in the online shop of Okov, a Podgorica retailer. Prices are per square metre, as the shop displayed them that day, with the discounts it states itself:

For the 8 mm laminate the shop states wear class 32/AC4, "for heavy-traffic domestic use and general commercial use". Three of the 12 mm models were on offer that day, at €12.99 instead of €18.49. Skirting boards of 2.6 m cost €2.79, and wider ones of 2.4 m €5.19. The 8 mm laminate's page also listed a delivery charge of €4.50.

Before buying, compare four things: thickness, wear class, pack size and whether the laminate is waterproof. Pack size changes the bill more than it seems: a 2.26 m² pack and a 1.51 m² pack do not leave the same surplus for the same room.

Example: a 4 × 5 m room

This is our calculation from the published prices, not a quote. The room has 20 m² of floor and an 18 m perimeter. Laminate is sold in whole packs, so you buy slightly more than the floor area:

• 8 mm: 9 packs of 2.26 m² = 20.34 m², for €223.54;
• 12 mm on offer: 14 packs of 1.51 m² = 21.14 m², for €274.61;
• 12 mm, class 33/AC6: 14 packs = 21.14 m², for €338.03;
• 14 mm: 15 packs of 1.41 m² = 21.15 m², for €484.33;
• skirting: 7 boards of 2.6 m = 18.2 m, for €19.53.

Underlay, threshold strips at the doors and labour are not included. If the room is irregular or the laminate goes down diagonally, there is more waste, so ask the shop or the fitter how many packs to take.

What fitting costs

We found no published price lists for fitting laminate in Montenegro. On 24 September 2026 oglasi.me had 1,399 listings in its Servisi i usluge (services) section, and only two Podgorica listings gave a price for laminate fitting: €3 each, with no unit, in listings from 2023 and 2024. The others quote by agreement, "depending on the area and layout of the floor". The Pod i podne obloge (floors and floor coverings) subcategory had just five listings, two from Serbia and three from Podgorica.

When you ask for a quote, ask:

1. whether the price is per m² or for the whole job;
2. whether it includes underlay, skirting and threshold profiles;
3. whether the old floor is removed and who takes away the waste;
4. whether door frames are undercut and door leaves shortened;
5. whether the subfloor is level or needs levelling first.

One Podgorica fitting business states on its website that an expansion profile is mandatory where the floor is longer than 8 m in any direction.

The seller's liability for laminate

Laminate is goods like any other. Under the Consumer Protection Act in force since 14 February 2026, the seller is liable for any lack of conformity that becomes apparent within two years of delivery, and if installation was part of the purchase and the seller did it, delivery counts from the moment installation was finished. Keep the receipt and photograph the packs with the design code, so you can buy the same one later.

Who fits floors on Glatko

On 24 September 2026 the flooring category had one verified profile, a tradesperson from Tivat working in Turkish, with a 20 km radius and 10 years of declared experience, who also does painting, tiling, drywall and plumbing. Of the 25 requests the platform received between 24 April and 28 June 2026, none was for a floor.

We did not measure prices in other shops, the price of underlay, parquet or parquet sanding, or actual labour prices. The prices are a snapshot of one shop on one day and change with promotions.
