Air Fryers in Montenegro: Prices at Okov, KIPS and on Ananas, the Same Model at Several Sellers and What the EU Says About Frying Potatoes (2026)

On 27 September 2026 an air fryer in Montenegro costs from €51 for the Favorit AF9001 on Ananas to €424.15 for the Ninja Foodi Max AG651, which is also a grill. The median of 44 air fryers on Ananas is €119.50, and of 26 air fryers at Okov €99.90. The same Gorenje AF1700DB costs €69.30 at one seller and €98.75 at another.

People buy an air fryer for a quick dinner, but it does not solve every meal: when you need a cook for a party or a Sunday lunch, on Glatko you can send a free request, without an account, for home cooking. What people search for

In Google Trends for Montenegro over the last 12 months the term friteza (fryer) did not have enough searches to get a value when compared with usisivac (vacuum cleaner), so we rely on search suggestions. On 27 September 2026 Google completed friteza na vazduh (air fryer) with cena (price), lidl, recepti (recipes), iskustva (experiences), akcija (sale), gorenje and gigatron, and air fryer with delimano, cungu, temaso, crna gora, tehnomax, okov, uputstvo za upotrebu (user manual) and philips. So people look for the price, a sale, a specific shop and recipes.

Air fryer prices

On the marketplace Ananas a search for fryer gives 60 results. We picked out 44 air fryers and did not count oil fryers, pots or baking paper. How we choose and label price sources is explained in how we measure prices.

• Up to €80 (4): Favorit AF9001 €51, Ninja AF100EU with a 3.8 l basket €65.99, Gorenje AF1700DB from €69.30 and Girmi FG9301 €75.90.
• From €80 to €120 (18): Sigma SK-1005 €80.99, Sharp AF-GS404AE €82.80, Tesla AF900BSD with two baskets from €84.15, Deerma DEM-KZ150W from €89, the Xiaomi 6.5 l fryer from €101.15 and Bosch MAF462B1 from €119.
• From €120 to €200 (17): Hisense HAF1350DR €126.25, Bosch Serie 6 MAFS2671B €144.33, Ninja AF140EU €148.75, Xiaomi Dual Zone 10 l €159.90 and Ninja AF400EU with two baskets €172.99.
• Over €200 (5): Ninja AF300EU €233.75, Electrolux EAF7SB €246.50, Ninja Speedi €286.45, Ninja AF500EU €322.15 and Ninja Foodi Max €424.15.

Tehno Plus offers the most fryers, 14, followed by ANANAS SHOP with ten and Xiaomi with five. The most common brand is Ninja with nine models, then Xiaomi with seven.

At Okov there were 26 air fryers, from €59.90 to €229.90, and eight were on sale. The 3.5 l Tefal Easy Fry Essential cost €59.90 instead of €119.90, the 7.5 l Easy Fry Mega €89.90 instead of €159.90, and the Tefal Dual Easy Fry XXL €229.90. At KIPS the Gorenje AF1700B costs €74.70 and the Tefal FF175D71 €99.99.

Basket volume on Ananas ranges from 3.2 litres for the Girmi FG9301 to 12 litres for the Xiaomi Double Stack. By our calculation a litre of capacity is dearest in smaller fryers: the 3.8 l Ninja AF100EU costs about €17.37 per litre, the 8 l Deerma DEM-KZ150W about €11.13, and the 12 l Xiaomi Double Stack about €13.74. Models with two baskets, like the Tesla AF900BSD with two of 4.5 l or the 9.5 l Ninja AF400EU, cook two dishes at once. The 10 l Princess for €135 and the 10 l Tristar FR-6964 for €142.20 are sold as hot air ovens.

Same model, different price

We found six fryers at two sellers on Ananas. The biggest gap is for Gorenje.

For the same Gorenje AF1700DB the gap is €29.45, and for the AF1409DB €30.15. At Grmec both Gorenje models are cheapest, and at ANANAS SHOP dearest.

How much electricity it uses

Air fryers on Ananas that state their power range from 1,300 W for the Eldom FR35 to 2,800 W for the Xiaomi Double Stack. By our calculation, a 1,500 W fryer running for 20 minutes at full power uses about 0.5 kWh, which at the EPCG higher tariff of 11.5462 cents per kWh is about €0.06. The thermostat switches the heater off from time to time, so actual use is usually lower. Air fryer paper costs €9.90 for 100 sheets.

What the EU says about frying potatoes

Commission Regulation (EU) 2017/2158 sets measures to reduce acrylamide, a substance that forms when potatoes are fried or baked at high temperature. Producers of frozen chips must recommend that consumers keep the frying temperature between 160 and 175 °C, and preheat the cooking device, which the Regulation explicitly says includes an air fryer, to 180 to 220 °C according to the instructions on the pack. Potatoes should be cooked to a golden yellow colour and not overcooked. The benchmark level of acrylamide for ready-to-eat chips is 500 micrograms per kilogram.

On Glatko

On 27 September 2026 Glatko had two verified home cooking providers, from Budva and Herceg Novi, and one verified electronics repair provider from Berane.

What to check before buying

1. The basket volume for the number of people at home.
2. One or two baskets if you make two dishes at once.
3. The power in watts and whether the socket and wiring can take it.
4. Whether the basket is dishwasher-safe.
5. The price of the same model at several sellers.

How we measured and what we did not measure

We copied prices from Ananas, Okov and KIPS on the day we read them, including prices before discount where shown; the sorting, medians, comparisons and calculation are ours. We did not measure power use, noise or the taste of food, and we left oil fryers out of the medians.
