Roller Shutters and Fly Screens in Montenegro: Price per m², Ready-Made Models and Which Is Cheaper (2026)

In Montenegro roller shutters and fly screens are searched for by town and price: on 24 September 2026 Google completed roletne podgorica (roller shutters Podgorica) with cijene (prices), cijena (price), popravka (repair), aluminijske roletne podgorica (aluminium roller shutters Podgorica) and pvc roletne podgorica cijene (PVC roller shutters Podgorica prices), and roletne crna gora (roller shutters Montenegro) with cijena (price), za prozore (for windows), za terase (for terraces), zebra, mehanizam (mechanism), automat (automatic winder) and motori (motors). For komarnici podgorica (fly screens Podgorica) it offered cijena (price), plise (pleated), rolo (roll-up), za prozore (for windows) and za vrata (for doors), and for komarnici cijena (fly screens price) crna gora (Montenegro) in second place and po m2 (per m²). In English and Russian there are no such searches for Montenegro.

Made-to-measure prices per m²

Makers in adverts give the prices of made-to-measure shutters and fly screens per square metre:

The Podgorica maker of pleated fly screens also lists the colours: white, anthracite, grey and aluminium. The first advert from Bar, refreshed in August 2026, does not say whether fitting is included.

Ready-made shutters and fly screens in the shop

On 24 September 2026 KIPS had ready-made aluminium shutters and fly screens for PVC windows and balcony doors:

The smallest fly screen, 50x50 cm, was on sale at €24.65 instead of €38.19. For a 120x120 cm shutter KIPS had two items, a brown one for €101.09 and another for €152.59.

Made to measure or ready-made: which is cheaper

Per square metre, ready-made models cost more the smaller they are. A 60x60 cm shutter from KIPS works out at about €238 per m², and a 140x140 cm shutter at about €93 per m². A 100x100 cm fly screen is €68.39 per m², and a 140x140 cm one about €53 per m².

For the same 140x140 cm window, or 1.96 m², our calculation using the advert prices looks like this:

• A made-to-measure shutter at €70 per m² would be €137.20, while a ready-made one from KIPS costs €183.19.
• A made-to-measure fly screen at €40 per m² would be €78.40, while a ready-made one from KIPS costs €104.29.

With a ready-made model you get a standard size and arrange fitting yourself; with made-to-measure the maker measures the opening. So ask whether fitting is included in the price: the second advert from Bar explicitly says it is not.

Types of fly screens and shutters

According to a Podgorica fly screen maker's description, it offers fixed, roll-up and pleated fly screens for windows and fly screens for doors, which are mostly fitted to balcony or entrance doors. The frame is made of PVC or aluminium, the mesh is fibreglass, and the standard colour is white, with other colours possible to match the joinery. The same source writes that the screens are adapted to PVC, aluminium and wooden joinery.

For aluminium roller shutters the same maker says they keep out the sun in summer, retain heat in winter and add noise insulation, and a second Podgorica maker also offers them for enclosing terraces and balconies. Zebra blinds and repairs

Alongside shutters, zebra blinds are also searched for: indoor roller blinds with alternating stripes. An advert from Podgorica offers ones fitted without drilling the frames, from €19 for 0.5x2 m to €27 for 1x2 m, with fitting at €5 per window sash, in Podgorica only. A second Podgorica advert, refreshed in September 2026, offers zebra blinds from €17.

For repairs, a Podgorica handyman lists replacing roller shutter winders among small repairs in an advert from February 2026, from €20.

What to agree

1. On-site measuring and whether it is free, as with the Podgorica pleated fly screen maker.
2. Whether fitting is included in the price per m², because one maker gives the price excluding fitting.
3. The type of fly screen, fixed, roll-up or pleated, and the colour to match the joinery.
4. For shutters: manual or motorised operation and where the shutter box goes.
5. Fiscal receipt: a registered maker's bill goes through the electronic fiscalisation system.

Who does this on Glatko

As of 24 September 2026 there was one verified profile in the aluminium and PVC joinery category on Glatko: a family firm from Podgorica whose description lists manual and electric roller shutters, fly screens for windows, doors and balconies, roller doors and louvred shutters. Another Podgorica firm, in the wider renovation and construction category, lists fly screens. We did not check prices from makers' quotes, motorised shutters, Venetian blinds or fly screens for roof windows. The made-to-measure prices come from adverts, some from 2024 and 2025; the Bar advert with prices of €70 and €40 was refreshed in August 2026.
