Tents in Montenegro: prices of camping tents, garden tents, gazebos and children's play tents at KIPS, Okov and Ananas, per person and per m² (2026)

On 28 September 2026 a camping tent at KIPS costs €13.99 for two, €23.99 for three and €29.99 for four people, all on sale. At Okov the Pavillo Cooldome costs €29.99 for two and €49.90 for three. A 3x3 m garden tent on Ananas costs from €108, and a 3x3 m gazebo at KIPS €159.99.

What people search for and when

In Google Trends for Montenegro over the last 12 months, the term sator (tent), compared with usisivac (vacuum cleaner), scored 36 in the week from 26 April 2026, 24 from 28 June and 30 from 9 August, but only 5 and 5 in September 2026. Trends listed krovni sator (roof tent, +80 %) as a rising query, and by municipality it was searched most in Bar and Podgorica. So tents are searched for from spring to August, which makes autumn the time for discounts.

On 28 September 2026 Google completed sator (tent) with satori za kampovanje (camping tents), za plazu (for the beach), satori za kampovanje crna gora (camping tents Montenegro), za djecu (for children), na naduvavanje (inflatable), satori crna gora (tents Montenegro) and okov, and satori (tents) with za kampovanje (for camping), za plazu (for the beach), joksimovic, za djecu (for children), okov, na naduvavanje (inflatable) and intersport. So people look for tents for camping, the beach and children, and for shops.

Camping tents

At KIPS the search for sator returned 12 results, of which three Pavillo tents, all on sale: for two €13.99 instead of €29.99, for three €23.99 instead of €35.19 and for four €29.99 instead of €106.99. A tent mat costs €12.99 instead of €21.49.

At Okov the 145x205x100 cm Pavillo Cooldome 2 costs €29.99 and the 210x210x130 cm Cooldome 3 €49.90. On Ananas a 220x120x100 cm pop-up tent costs €17.83, a three-person igloo tent with an awning €26.47 and four LED tent pegs €2.30.

Garden tents and gazebos

On Ananas GROUP TRADE had 10 garden tents, all on sale: a 3x3 m four-sided tent €108, an automatically unfolding 3x3 m one €195.50, a 3x6 m one €192 and a 3x9 m one €240. A picnic tent with a bag costs €135. At KIPS a 3x3 m gazebo costs €159.99 and a 3x4 m steel one €199.49.

Children's play tents

At Okov a 100x100x135 cm children's play tent costs €15.99 and the Castle €24.90. On Ananas MICASA tents cost from €22.99 to €29.90, a Lorelli play tent €39.13 and toy tents €15.99 and €17.59.

Price per person and per square metre

By our calculation, the four-person tent at KIPS costs €7.50 per person, the two-person one €7 and the three-person one €8. The Cooldome 3 at Okov costs €16.63 per person, twice the three-person tent at KIPS. The discount on the four-person tent at KIPS is 72 %.

A 3x3 m garden tent on Ananas costs €12 per square metre, a 3x6 m one €10.67 and a 3x9 m one €8.89. A 3x3 m gazebo at KIPS costs €17.78 per square metre and a 3x4 m one €16.62. So a bigger garden tent is cheaper per square metre of shade.

What the EU requires of a children's play tent

A children's play tent is a toy, and Annex II, Part I, point 6 of Directive 2009/48/EC on the safety of toys requires a toy that a child can get inside, forming an enclosed space, to have an exit that the user can easily open from the inside. Under Part II, point 1, a toy must not be a dangerous flammable element: the material does not burn, is not readily flammable, burns slowly or is designed to delay combustion. Montenegro is not an EU member, but a children's tent is best kept away from grills and candles.

What to check before buying

1. The number of people: a three-person tent is comfortable for two with luggage.
2. Waterproofing and a double roof for mountain rain.
3. The mat and pegs, since they are sold separately.
4. For the garden: the size, the number of sides and whether it unfolds automatically.
5. The discount, since tents are up to 72 % cheaper in autumn.

How we measured and what we did not measure

We copied prices from KIPS, Okov and Ananas on the day we read them, with the pre-discount price where shown; the price per person and per square metre are ours. We took the number of people and sizes from the name and removed tiles, screws, bottles, lamps, bath mats, figurines and Pavilion laptops. At Okov we read the first search page. We did not measure waterproofing or wind resistance.
