Wall panels in Montenegro: the price of PVC, MDF and 3D panels per m², wood panelling and what a 7.8 m² wall costs compared with paint and wallpaper (2026)

On 25 September 2026 PVC wall panels at KIPS cost from €18.89 to €20.29 per m², wood panelling at KIPS and Okov from €13.09 to €17.59 per m², and decorative slat panels at Cilimara in Podgorica from €32.99 to €42.14 per m², 35% off. A wall of 3 × 2.6 metres, or 7.8 m², comes to €174.12 with PVC panels from KIPS and trim, €329.96 with MDF panels and €500 with 3D PVC slats, while painting the same wall in colour costs from €15.60.

Below are prices by panel type and shop, accessories, a per-m² comparison with paint and wallpaper, four bills for the same wall and your rights when you order panels online.

What people search for

On 25 September 2026 Google completed zidni paneli (wall panels) with podgorica, crna gora cijena (Montenegro price), kips, ulcinj, za kupatilo (for the bathroom) and za kuhinju (for the kitchen), and people also search for 3d paneli za zid crna gora (three-dimensional wall panels, Montenegro), lamperija okov (wood panelling Okov), lamperija kips (wood panelling KIPS), akusticni paneli podgorica (acoustic panels Podgorica) and zidne obloge za kuhinju podgorica (kitchen wall cladding Podgorica). According to Google Keyword Planner, zidni paneli was searched between 100 and 1,000 times a month in Montenegro, in Serbian, from September 2025 to August 2026.

PVC panels and wood panelling

We read the prices on 25 September 2026 on the shops' websites. These are panels for interior walls; sandwich panels for roofs and facades are a different product, which we covered in our article on sandwich panels and polycarbonate. KIPS sells PVC panels only in whole packs of 2.65 m², and Potkovica cladding in packs of 8.1 m², so a small wall usually leaves some over. Trim for wall panels, 3 m long, costs €3.99 per metre, end trim €2.49 to €3.09 and connectors €4.59 to €6.99. The self-adhesive vinyl from the ad works out at about €10.56 per m² and is the cheapest option, but it is thin and does not hide an uneven wall. For bathrooms and kitchens, which wall panels are most often searched for, PVC copes with moisture better than MDF and untreated wood panelling.

Decorative MDF panels and 3D slats

A 3D PVC slat of 15.5 × 290 cm covers 0.4495 m², so it works out at €55.62 per m², the most expensive of all the panels we found. Cilimara's Penta panels are MDF, with five slats joined by tongue and groove, and can also go on a ceiling, while Roble Timber Oak is a natural oak cladding.

Compared with paint and wallpaper

Per m² of wall, panels cost several times more than paint and wallpaper. According to our article on painting prices in Podgorica, painting in colour including materials starts at €2 per m², and according to our article on wallpaper, a roll of wallpaper costs €19.49 at the median and covers 5.33 m², about €3.66 per m². Panels are chosen when a wall needs protecting from knocks and moisture, hiding unevenness or getting slats and acoustics, and paint when price matters.

The same 7.8 m² wall, four bills

• PVC panels, KIPS: three packs of 2.65 m², 7.95 m² in total at €18.89, which is €150.18, and two 3 m lengths of trim at €3.99 a metre, €23.94, €174.12 in total.
• Penta Negro Mate MDF panels, Cilimara: three packs of 2.61 m², 7.83 m² in total at €42.14, €329.96 in total.
• 3D PVC slats, zidnipaneli.me: a wall 3 m wide needs 20 slats of 15.5 cm at €25, €500 in total.
• Paint and wallpaper for comparison: painting in colour from €15.60, and two rolls of wallpaper at €19.49 plus glue from €2.99, €41.97 in total, without labour.

None of the sellers we looked at publishes the price of installing the panels. Buying online

Under the Consumer Protection Law, in force since 14 February 2026, you can withdraw from a distance contract, for example an order for panels from a web shop, within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. This does not apply to goods made to your specifications or personalised, so panels cut to size usually cannot be returned. What we did not measure

We did not measure the cost of installation, because sellers do not publish it, or the prices of felt-backed acoustic panels, which we did not find in Montenegrin web shops. We took only one offer from the classified ads, and we did not visit shops in Ulcinj and other coastal towns that Google suggests alongside wall panels. We do not know whether Cilimara's website prices include VAT. The prices are from a single day.
