Roof Windows in Montenegro: Prices of Velux and RoofLITE Windows, Flashing, Blinds and Installation (2026)
In Montenegro roof windows are searched for with price and brand: on 24 September 2026 Google completed krovni prozori crna gora (roof windows Montenegro) with krovni prozori crna gora cijena (roof windows Montenegro price), velux krovni prozori crna gora (Velux roof windows Montenegro) and velux krovni prozori crna gora cijena (Velux roof windows Montenegro price), and velux crna gora (Velux Montenegro) with velux prozori crna gora (Velux windows Montenegro). For krovni prozori (roof windows) it offered cena sa ugradnjom (price with installation) and velux cena (Velux price), and for krovni prozor cijena (roof window price) velux krovni prozor 66x118 cijena (price of a Velux roof window in that size) and komarnik za krovni prozor cijena (roof window insect screen price). In English and Russian there are no such searches for Montenegro.
This guide gives the prices of roof windows by size in two shops, the prices of flashing, blinds and skylights, the price of installation from one contractor and two examples for a 78 x 118 cm window.

Velux at KIPS
On 24 September 2026 KIPS had six sizes of the Velux GZL window, in lacquered wood:
- 55 x 78 cm (CK02): €305.09.
- 55 x 98 cm (CK04): €327.49.
- 66 x 98 cm (FK04): €363.49.
- 78 x 98 cm (MK04): €373.99.
- 66 x 118 cm (FK06): €378.99.
- 78 x 118 cm (MK06): €404.79.
The GLU window has a white polyurethane finish, and the retailer recommends it for rooms with more moisture, such as bathrooms and kitchens. It cost €379.69 for 55 x 78 cm, €470.29 for 66 x 118 cm and €502.59 for 78 x 118 cm.
At KIPS a Velux window is sold without flashing. The EDW flashing with the BDX kit, for profiled roof coverings such as wavy tiles, concrete tiles and profiled sheet metal, cost from €137.49 for CK02 to €170.49 for MK06. The size code is repeated on the flashing and the blind: an MK06 window goes with EDW MK06 flashing and a DKL MK06 blind.
RoofLITE at Okov
Okov had three sizes of the RoofLITE window in impregnated pine, with double glazing, a Uw value of 1.3 and flashing included in the price: €259.90 for 55 x 78 cm, €299.90 for 66 x 118 cm and €319.90 for 78 x 118 cm. For the 78 x 118 cm size that is €84.89 less than the Velux GZL window at KIPS, before the flashing that is paid separately with Velux.
Blinds, awnings and skylights
Altaterra interior blinds at Okov cost from €64.90 to €69.90, and Velux DKL full blackout blinds at KIPS €107.69 and €111.59. The Velux MHL external awning, fitted on the outside against overheating, cost from €84.49 to €105.09, and a telescopic rod for opening windows out of reach €27.89.
For a loft that is not heated there are smaller skylights. At Okov the 45 x 55 cm Sky-one cost €77.40 and the Fenstro of the same size €109.90, with the retailer noting that they are mainly used for uninhabited, unheated lofts. At KIPS the Velux VLT roof access hatches cost €205.99 and €225.29, and the 54 x 83 cm GVT roof exit window €306.99.
What installation costs
Emanuel Gruppe from Podgorica publishes different packages on two pages. On the first, installing a standard roof window costs €150 to €250 per piece, with fitting, seals and basic flashing, but without the price of the window itself; interior finishing with plasterboard costs €50 to €80, and removing an old window and replacing it €60 to €100. Blinds, shades and automation are charged separately.
On the second page a standard 78 x 118 cm window with installation, Velux or Fakro with double glazing, costs €450 to €600, and a triple-glazed one €600 to €800, including waterproofing and thermal insulation, battens and seals. Interior finishing with plasterboard, PVC or wood lining adds €80 to €150 there. The same contractor states that installing in an existing roof involves cutting the opening and reinforcing the rafters.
Two examples for 78 x 118 cm
At the shop prices, with installation and finishing from Emanuel's first page:
- RoofLITE from Okov: window with flashing (€319.90), installation at €150 to €250 and interior finishing at €50 to €80, €519.90 to €649.90 in total.
- Velux GZL from KIPS: window (€404.79) and EDW flashing (€170.49), installation at €150 to €250 and finishing at €50 to €80, €775.28 to €905.28 in total.
A blind is not included. The package on Emanuel's second page, €450 to €600 including the window, does not name the model or the flashing, so we do not compare it directly.
What to agree
- The window size and code to suit the rafter spacing and roof pitch.
- Flashing to suit the roof covering, since EDW is for profiled coverings.
- Reinforcing the rafters and cutting the opening when installing in an existing roof.
- Interior finishing, which Emanuel charges separately.
- Fiscal receipt: a registered retailer's and contractor's bill goes through the electronic fiscalisation system.
Who does this on Glatko
As of 24 September 2026 there was no verified profile in the roofing category on Glatko. In the aluminium and PVC joinery category there was one profile from Podgorica, whose description does not mention roof windows. Among the 25 requests received between 24 April and 28 June 2026, one concerned a roof, from Ulcinj, and expired without a quote. What we did not measure
We did not find Fakro or Roto windows in the shops we looked at, and we did not check insect screens for roof windows or flashing for flat roof coverings. Point 1 in the list above is general practice, not data from a source with prices.
