Fridges in Montenegro: Prices of Fridge-Freezers, Built-In and Side-by-Side Fridges, the Same Model at Different Sellers and How Much Electricity They Use (2026)
On 26 September 2026 a fridge in Montenegro costs from €123.25 for a small single-door VOX on Ananas to €2,489 for a side-by-side Bosch, and the median of the 182 fridge listings on Ananas is €458.58. At KIPS, Beko and Gorenje fridge-freezers cost from €264 to €534.99, and built-in fridges up to €701.60. The same model has very different prices: the Gorenje NRK619EPW4 costs €419.20 from the seller Tv Centar Djecevic, €464.99 at KIPS and €623.75 from Ananas Shop.

What people search for
On 26 September 2026 Google completed frizider cijena (fridge price) with crna gora (Montenegro), pevex, bingo, smeg and ugradni frizider cijena (built-in fridge price). Google Trends for Montenegro shows fridges searched about as often as washing machines and around twice as often as fans. So people are looking for the price in Montenegro, the type of fridge and a specific shop.
Prices by type
On the marketplace Ananas a search for fridge gives 274 results; we read the first 192, of which 182 are fridge listings and the rest accessories. KIPS has 17 Beko and Gorenje fridges, plus cool boxes for the beach. We could not read Tehnomax because the site blocks automated reading. A built-in fridge's median is €146.30 higher than a freestanding fridge-freezer's, and it also has to be fitted into a kitchen unit. Listings with No Frost in the name have a median of €664.33, because they are mostly larger fridge-freezers.
Same model, different price
On Ananas the same fridge is sold by several sellers, and the difference can be large:
- Gorenje NRK619EPW4: €419.20 from Tv Centar Djecevic, €464.99 at KIPS, €623.75 from Ananas Shop.
- Gorenje R4142PW: €279.20 from Tv Centar Djecevic, €309.99 at KIPS, €314.10 from Grmec.
- Gorenje R619EES5: €523.80 from Grmec, €529.20 from the seller Mazor, €549.49 at KIPS.
- Gorenje NRKI517E41, built-in: €538.20 from Grmec, €570.99 at KIPS.
For the Gorenje NRK619EPW4 the difference is €204.55 for the same product, so it pays to compare sellers before buying.
Which type to choose
A single-door fridge suits a small flat or holiday apartment, because it has a small freezer compartment or none. A fridge-freezer has the freezer at the bottom and is the most common choice for a family. No Frost needs no defrosting, because ice does not build up on the walls. A built-in model fits into kitchen units, but the choice is smaller and the volume is usually smaller than a freestanding model of the same width. A side-by-side needs more space and a wider door opening in the flat, so also measure the hallway you carry it through. Leave some space behind and above the fridge, as the manufacturer's manual requires, so the compressor can cool.

For the beach KIPS also has cool boxes from €9.69 to €38.99.
How much electricity it uses
Under Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/2016 the energy label of a refrigerating appliance shows annual energy use in kWh, compartment volumes and noise. The Amica KS15614S on Ananas lists 133 kWh a year; by our calculation, at the EPCG higher tariff of 11.5462 cents per kWh, that is about €15.36 a year, without VAT and fixed charges. For any model, multiply the kWh on the label by the same price.
Is a fridge cheaper than in the EU
Fijaka shows in its article on living costs in Montenegro and Germany, based on Eurostat for 2024, that consumer goods in Montenegro are about 25% cheaper than in Germany, while electricity, gas and fuels stand at 46 against 122. So a fridge is a good that does not cost much less than in the EU, but it is cheaper to run here.
