Dry Cleaning in Montenegro: Prices for Coats, Suits, Jackets, Duvets and Curtains at a Podgorica Dry Cleaner (2026)

On 26 September 2026, according to the public price list of the Pulito dry cleaner in Podgorica, dry cleaning in Montenegro costs €16 for a suit, €13 to €18 for a coat, €18 to €20 for a down jacket, and €14 to €20 for a duvet. Curtains are charged per m², from €1.50 for thin ones, and a wedding dress costs €80 to €150. By our calculation, a winter bundle of a coat, two down jackets, a suit and two jumpers costs €86.

What people search for

On 26 September 2026 Google completed hemijska cistiona (dry cleaner) with nikšić, podgorica, budva, bar and bijelo polje, and hemijska cistiona podgorica with the names of dry cleaners and neighbourhoods, centar and stari aerodrom. For hemijsko ciscenje podgorica (dry cleaning Podgorica) it offered cijene (prices), obuće (shoes) and patika (trainers). For ciscenje jorgana (duvet cleaning) it offered hemijsko ciscenje jorgana and hemijsko ciscenje jorgana cena, so we put duvets, blankets and bedding in a separate table. In English people search dry cleaning podgorica and laundry budva, and in Russian химчистка черногория and химчистка бар черногория. Google Trends for Montenegro shows dry cleaning searched less often than tiles or mattresses, but with steady searches by town.

Clothing prices

The only public price list we found was at the Pulito dry cleaner, which operates in the New City district and in the Mall of Montenegro in Podgorica; dry cleaners in Budva, Bar and Nikšić do not publish prices. How we choose and label price sources is explained in how we measure prices.

Ironing a shirt is listed at €4, with a price of €3 in brackets and no explanation of when the lower one applies.

Bedding, duvets and curtains

The dry cleaner does not dry clean bedding, duvets and blankets but washes them in water; in the price list they are under wet cleaning.

Four calculations

This is our own calculation from the prices in the tables:

• Winter bundle: long coat €18 + two long down jackets €40 + suit €16 + two jumpers €12 = €86.
• Living-room curtains: two thin curtains 3 × 2.6 m = 15.6 m² × €1.50 = €23.40.
• Bedding change for an apartment with a double bed: double duvet cover €3.50 + double sheet €2.50 + two pillowcases €1.60 + two large towels €3 + two small towels €1.20 = €11.80.
• Duvet: washing an ordinary duvet at the dry cleaner costs €14, and a self-service wash of up to 6.5 kg €7, so half as much, if the label allows machine washing and the duvet fits in the drum.

For holiday-let owners

If you rent out an apartment, bedding and towels are a cost at every guest change. By our calculation one change for a double bed at the dry cleaner costs €11.80, so ten changes a month in season means about €118 just for washing, without transport to the dry cleaner. What the care-label symbols mean

The international standard ISO 3758:2023 sets care symbols for textiles in five steps: washing, bleaching, drying, ironing and professional care. The circle at the end of the label refers to professional dry or wet cleaning. If the circle is crossed out, the item should not go to a dry cleaner, and if there is no symbol for washing in water, do not wash it at home. The standard does not apply to upholstered furniture with fixed covers, mattresses or carpets for professional cleaning, so separate services apply to them.

When deep cleaning is better

For carpets, corner sofas and mattresses a dry cleaner is not the right place. On Glatko and in town

On 26 September 2026 Glatko had one verified provider from Budva in the laundry and ironing category. What to check before handing in

1. The label, especially the circle and crossed-out symbols.
2. Stains, and tell the dry cleaner what caused them.
3. Pockets, buttons and embellishments, which can be damaged.
4. The price before handing in, because silk and embellishments cost more.
5. The pick-up date, especially for a wedding dress and winter clothes.

How we measured and what we did not measure

We copied prices from one dry cleaner's public price list on the day we read it; the page does not state the date of the price list. The four calculations are our own. We did not measure turnaround time, cleaning quality or the prices of dry cleaners that do not publish a price list, and cleaning shoes and trainers, which Google also suggests, is not in the published price list.
