Curtains and Curtain Rods in Montenegro: Prices of Ready-Made Curtains, Drapes, Rods and Window Blinds at JYSK, Okov and KIPS (2026)

A ready-made curtain in Montenegro costs from €7.49 to €55 per panel at full price, and from €4.50 on clearance. On 25 September 2026 JYSK had 103 ready-made curtains, of which 88 at full price cost from €8 to €55, with a median of €23. Okov had 87 curtains, from €6.99 on sale to €29.90, and KIPS 40 curtains of 140x240 cm, from €9.99 to €22.99. Curtain rods cost from €1.90 for a bare rod to €61.99 for a double rod, and window blinds from €4.90 to €69.99. A window with two curtains and a rod comes to between about €22 and about €68.

Below are the prices of curtains and drapes, rods, tracks and sash rods, window blinds, what about venetian blinds, the cost of one window, the rules for buying online and who does the installation.

What people search for

On 25 September 2026 Google's first completion for zavjese po mjeri (made-to-measure curtains) was podgorica; for garnišne (curtain rods) it suggested plafonske (ceiling), okov, za plafon (for the ceiling), metalne (metal), za dnevnu sobu (for the living room) and podgorica, and for venecijaneri (venetian blinds) za prozore (for windows), okov, crna gora (Montenegro), podgorica, niksic and cena po m2 (price per square metre). According to Google Keyword Planner, zavjese (curtains) was searched between 100 and 1,000 times a month in Montenegro, in Serbian, from September 2025 to August 2026. In Google Trends for Montenegro, zavjese had a several times higher average index than vodoinstalater (plumber) over the last 12 months.

Ready-made curtains and drapes

We read the prices on the websites of three shops on 25 September 2026. Okov's website does not show all products at once, so for each category we read the 32 cheapest and the 32 most expensive products. How we choose and label price sources is explained on our page on how we measure prices.

JYSK states 1x, one panel, in the name of 102 of its 103 curtains. For a window with a left and a right curtain, multiply the price by two. At full price, a 140x300 cm curtain at JYSK had a median of €25, and a 140x245 cm one €28. On clearance while stocks last there were 15 curtains, with discounts of 50% to 70%: the cheapest, LUPIN 140x300 cm, cost €4.50 instead of €14.99. The cheapest Okov curtain at full price was Lissea 140x240 cm for €7.49, and the two cheapest, at €6.99, were outlet items with a 30% discount. The most expensive were Carlin curtains of 300x240 cm, at €29.90. Drapes, heavier curtains, cost from €9.99 to €25.90 at Okov; the Cel Odelie blackout drapes of 140x260 cm cost €13.99, and Fujo 135x260 cm €15.99. KIPS had blackout curtains of 140x240 cm in eight colours, all at €21.49.

Curtain rods, tracks and sash rods

A rod is chosen by length and by whether it goes on the wall or the ceiling, and for some models the brackets and finials are bought separately.

Extendable rods of up to about two metres cost: at JYSK, MADRID from 120 to 225 cm €7, and BALL from 120 to 210 cm €25 in steel and €30 in black; at Okov, Bullette from 120 to 210 cm €9.99. For wider windows Okov has Bullette from 210 to 380 cm for €12.99. Two-channel and double rods, for a curtain and a drape on the same rod, cost from €27.99 to €60.49 at KIPS, and ceiling rods, from 150 to 250 cm, from €10.49 to €13.49.

Window blinds

Instead of a curtain, you can also put an indoor roller blind on the window. At JYSK the prices for a window 100 cm wide were:

• SENJA 100x170 cm: €20, a plain roller blind.
• FONNO 100x170 cm: €21, a thermal blackout roller blind.
• BOLGA 100x170 cm: €25, a blackout roller blind.
• Duo FEMRIS 100x180 cm: €34, a Duo roller blind, described as making it easy to adjust the light.
• Duo TOKE 100x180 cm: €47.

All 78 blinds at JYSK cost from €10 to €58. With the Duo blind JYSK also supplies clamp brackets, which according to the product description attach to the window frame without drilling. At Okov the cheapest blinds are EasyFix ones from €4.90, bamboo ones from €8.39 on outlet sale, and the Day and Night blinds were on sale, for example 120x180 cm for €25.90 instead of €47.90. Okov's Screen outdoor solar blinds cost €49.90. At KIPS, EasyFix blinds 100 cm wide cost €24.99, thermal ones €32.49, and double ones from €34.99 for 60 cm to €69.99 for 140 cm. JYSK also sells a mounting kit for PVC windows, for roller blinds and venetian blinds, two pieces for €8.

Venetian blinds

We did not find venetian blinds, blinds with horizontal slats, in the range of the three shops on 25 September 2026: searches at Okov and KIPS returned no results, and there were no venetian blinds among JYSK's 78 blinds. Among Okov's accessories we found only a bracket for a 25 mm aluminium venetian blind. Made-to-measure venetian blinds are offered by blind makers; an ad from Herceg Novi from 2023 lists fitting and repair of shutters, mosquito nets, curtains and venetian blinds with a price of €20, without a unit. The cost of one window

For a window with two curtains 140 cm wide and an extendable rod about two metres long:

• Cheapest: two Lissea curtains from Okov at €7.49 and a MADRID rod from JYSK for €7, a total of €21.98.
• Mid-range: two 140x300 cm curtains from JYSK at the full-price median of €25 and a Bullette rod from Okov for €9.99, a total of €59.99.
• Blackout: two blackout curtains from KIPS at €21.49 and a BALL rod from JYSK for €25, a total of €67.98.

Buying online and made-to-measure curtains

All three shops also sell online. Under the Consumer Protection Law, in force since 14 February 2026, a consumer can withdraw from a distance contract, without giving a reason, within 14 days of the goods being handed over. This right does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or personalised for the consumer, which the law describes as goods that are not produced in advance but made on the basis of the consumer's individual choice or decision. Ready-made curtains bought online can therefore be returned within that period, but for curtains sewn to your measurements you do not have this right, so check the measurements before ordering.

Installation and who does it on Glatko

On oglasi.me we found three ads for putting up curtain rods and curtains, from Podgorica, Budva and Herceg Novi, and one ad for curtain washing, and none had a price with a unit. An ad from Podgorica from December 2022 offers fitting of curtain rods, ceiling, wall, electric and pull-cord ones, as well as zebra blinds and hanging curtains, and an ad from Budva from August 2025 offers putting up curtain rods alongside painting, drywall, and fitting light fixtures and taps. An ad from July 2026 offers washing, ironing, taking down and hanging curtains in Podgorica and on the coast, with a price of €2 without a unit.

On 25 September 2026 Glatko had one verified profile in the small repairs category, from Budva, and one in the furniture assembly category, from Podgorica. Between 24 April and 28 June 2026 the platform received one request in the small repairs category, from Budva, which was cancelled. Prices of other household services are in our price guide.

What we did not measure

We did not find published prices for made-to-measure curtains from tailors and showrooms or for installation. At Okov we read the 32 cheapest and most expensive products per category, so we do not give medians for Okov. Discounts change, and the prices are from a single day.
