On 27 September 2026 a clothes drying rack at KIPS costs from €8.69 to €74.49, with a median of €22.49 across 21 racks. At Okov a Gimi costs from €15.90 for 18 m to €30.99 for 20 m, and a Brabantia HangOn €84.90. A tumble dryer on Ananas costs from €267.75, and a Bosch heat pump dryer up to €1,020.

Google Trends returned no data for the term susilo za ves (clothes drying rack) in Montenegro. On 27 September 2026 Google completed susilo za ves with cena (price), za dvoriste (for the yard), jysk, na struju (electric), za terasu (for the terrace), za prozor (for the window), vileda, jumbo and visoko (tall), and susilica za ves (clothes dryer) with okov, na struju (electric), plasticna (plastic), za terasu (for the terrace), podgorica, cungu, crna gora, lidl and jysk. So people look for racks for terraces, yards and windows, electric dryers and shops.

Racks at KIPS

At KIPS the search returned 28 results, and without dish racks 21 clothes drying racks remained, from €8.69 to €74.49, with a median of €22.49; eight were on sale. The Arco balcony rack costs €8.69 instead of €11.59, the 12 m Perilla Fly €14.49 instead of €18.99 and the 18 m Gimi Basic-Jolly €14.69.

The 30 m Gimi VIP 3 costs €23.99 instead of €28.99, the 20 m Top Super €24.49 and the 40 m Modular 4 Lux €30.99 instead of €38.39. The 18 m Perilla Sabina 2 in 1 costs €22.49, and the 17 m Baronet €65.99. The Leifheit Siena 180 costs €34.49, and the Pegasus 200 Deluxe with wheels €74.49. Small 4 m racks cost €10.99 and €17.49.

Racks at Okov

At Okov the search returned 223 products, and the first page had six drying racks, along with laundry baskets and pegs. The 18 m Gimi Glory costs €15.90, the 20 m Alucom €25.99, the 20 m Zaffiro €26.90 and the 20 m Borealis €30.99. The Leifheit Pegasus Solid 180 costs €59.90, and the 30 m Brabantia HangOn €84.90. A 30 m clothesline costs €6.40.

Racks and dryers on Ananas

On Ananas the search for sušilo za veš (drying rack) returned five, and for sušilica za veš (clothes dryer) 39 results. The 10 m Čistunica Think balcony rack costs €8.99, the 16 m Star €11.99, the 20 m Fantasy Lux €13.99, the 18 m Wings Lux €18.99 and the 30 m modular Stream €23.99. A 15 m vertical ModernHome costs €44, a foldable one with wheels €51, and a large garden one €84. The Vileda Solar costs €74.56.

Tumble dryers cost from €267.75 (Favorit) and €310.25 (Candy) to €446.25 (Indesit). The Gorenje VD2PA964ADV costs €585.90 at both sellers, and Whirlpool €594.15 and €637.50. Bosch heat pump dryers cost €910, €950 for 8 kg and €1,020.

Price per metre and calculation

By our calculation, the Čistunica Fantasy Lux costs €0.70 per metre of line, the 40 m Gimi Modular 4 Lux €0.77 and the Gimi Glory €0.88. The Brabantia HangOn costs €2.83 per metre, four times more per metre than the Čistunica rack. The cheapest tumble dryer costs as much as about 12 racks at the KIPS median, and a Bosch heat pump dryer as much as about 40.

What the EU label requires of tumble dryers

Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/2534 on the energy labelling of household tumble dryers applies from 1 July 2025. Most dryers already have a condensation efficiency above 80 %, so there are fewer condensation classes, and noise is no longer shown only in decibels but also in classes. The product information sheet for a heat pump dryer must name the refrigerant gas, and it also contains links to spare parts, repair instructions, indicative prices and the minimum guarantee. Montenegro is not an EU member, but the energy and noise classes on the label are worth comparing.

On Glatko

On 27 September 2026 Glatko had four verified cleaning providers, two from Budva and one each from Bar and Podgorica, and one laundry and ironing provider, from Budva.

What to check before buying

1. The line length: 18 to 20 m for one wash load, 30 m and more for a family.
2. The place: balcony, floor-standing, vertical or garden.
3. The material: aluminium or coated steel does not rust by the sea.
4. Folding and wheels if you put the rack away.
5. The energy and noise class if you buy a tumble dryer.

How we measured and what we did not measure

We copied prices from KIPS, Okov and Ananas on the day we read them, with the pre-discount price where shown; the groups, medians and price per metre are ours. We took the line length from the name and removed dish racks, baskets, pegs, machine accessories and hoses. At Okov we read the first page of the search. We did not measure the load capacity of the racks or the electricity use of the dryers.
