Ironing boards in Montenegro: prices at KIPS, Okov and on Ananas, one Leifheit board in two shops and what the EU requires in a product recall (2026)

On 27 September 2026 an ironing board at KIPS costs from €16.99 to €117.49, with a median of €41.74 across 14 boards. At Okov 24 boards cost from €19.99 to €159.90, with a median of €53.90, and on Ananas 13 boards from €19.99 to €106.40, with a median of €35.99. The same Leifheit Air Board Compact M costs €69.90 at Okov and €98.99 at KIPS.

An ironing board goes with an iron and a washing machine, and when you have no time for ironing, on Glatko you can send a free request, without an account, for laundry and ironing or for home cleaning. Below are prices by shop and size, the differences for the same models, the prices of covers and what EU rules require when a product is recalled for safety reasons.

What people search for

Google Trends returned no data for the term daska za peglanje (ironing board) in Montenegro. On 27 September 2026 Google completed daska za peglanje with cungu, okov, jumbo, crna gora, vitapur, tehnomax, podgorica, rukava (for sleeves) and temaso. So people look for shops, the city and a sleeve board, not for a type of board.

Boards at KIPS

At KIPS the search for daska za peglanje returned 86 results, and after we removed cutting boards, swimming boards, toilet seats and timber, 14 ironing boards remained, from €16.99 to €117.49, with a median of €41.74. Perilla has seven boards, from the 30x74 cm Mini for €16.99, through the 30x97 cm Alsu for €28.99 and the 30x105 cm Eko Class for €32.49, to the 40x120 cm Tomris for €51.99.

The 110x33 cm Gimi Junior costs €34.49, and the 122x38 cm Gimi Prestige €41.99 instead of €51.99. The Leifheit Airboard Compact S costs €77.49, the Compact M €98.99, the 120x38 cm Express M €107.99 and the 130x45 cm Express Maxx €117.49. The OSCAR M9005 pull-out board, built into a cabinet, costs €76.45.

Boards at Okov

At Okov the first search page had 24 ironing boards, from €19.99 to €159.90, with a median of €53.90. The 110x32 cm Super Euro board costs €19.99 instead of €24.99, the Colombo Easy €21.90, the Gimi Leo €31.90, the 120x38 cm Gimi Sonico €39.90 and the Gimi Roy €44.90. The 95x30 cm Brabantia table-top board costs €35.90 instead of €49.90 in grey, and €44.90 in another colour.

Five large 130 and 135 cm boards cost from €55.90 to €159.90: the 130x44 cm Atlantic €55.90, the Colombo Giove €69.90 and the 135x45 cm Brabantia €139.90 and €159.90. The Leifheit Air Board M costs €129.90. Sleeve boards cost €7.49 (Gimi), €29.90 (Brabantia) and €32.90 (Leifheit), and covers from €6.99 to €12.99.

Boards on Ananas

On Ananas the search for daska za peglanje returned 15 results, of which 13 boards and two Vileda covers. Čistunica has five boards, from the 30x105 cm mesh One for €19.99 to the 43x125 cm monoblock Jumbo for €49.99. The Colombo Easy costs €22.95, the Sigma €32.30, the Lamart LT8039 €35.99 and €38.25 at two sellers, the Vileda Viva Neo €62.05 and the Jata board with a step ladder €106.40. Vileda covers cost €30.12 and €34.80.

The same models in different shops

The Leifheit Air Board Compact M costs €69.90 at Okov and €98.99 at KIPS, so it is €29.09 or 41.6 % more expensive at KIPS. For the Leifheit Air Board Express M it is the other way round: €107.99 at KIPS and €129.90 at Okov, 20.3 % more at Okov. The Colombo Easy costs €21.90 at Okov and €22.95 on Ananas, and the Lamart LT8039 €35.99 and €38.25 at two sellers on Ananas, a 6.3 % difference.

By our calculation, the median is lowest on Ananas (€35.99), then at KIPS (€41.74) and at Okov (€53.90). The Vileda cover on Ananas (€30.12) costs more than a whole Čistunica One board (€19.99), while covers at Okov cost from €6.99. So the shop with the lower median is not always cheaper for the model you want.

What EU rules require when a product is recalled

Article 36 of Regulation (EU) 2023/988 on general product safety requires a recall notice to carry the headline "Product safety recall", a picture, name, brand and serial number of the product, a clear description of the hazard and an instruction to stop using the product immediately. Under Article 37, when a product is recalled, the consumer gets an effective, cost-free remedy and chooses between at least two of three: repair, replacement with a safe product of the same type and at least the same value, or a refund of at least the price paid. If the repair or replacement is not completed within a reasonable time, the consumer is always entitled to a refund. Montenegro is not an EU member, but it is worth keeping the receipt and the box of your board.

On Glatko

On 27 September 2026 Glatko had one verified laundry and ironing provider, from Budva, and four cleaning providers, two from Budva and one each from Bar and Podgorica.

What to check before buying

1. The dimensions: 110x33 cm for a smaller flat, 120x38 cm and more for bed sheets.
2. Adjustable height and stable legs with rubber feet.
3. The iron rest, which should fit a steam station if you have one.
4. The cover: the price and size of a replacement cover.
5. The same model in several shops, since the difference reaches 41.6 %.

How we measured and what we did not measure

We copied prices from KIPS, Okov and Ananas on the day we read them, with the pre-discount price where shown; the medians and comparisons are ours. We took dimensions from the name and removed cutting boards, swimming boards, toilet seats, timber and covers. At Okov we read the first search page. We did not measure stability, load capacity or cover quality.
