Dishwashers in Montenegro: Prices of Freestanding, Built-In and Slimline 45 cm Dishwashers, the Same Model at KIPS and Ananas, Connection and Electricity Use (2026)

On 26 September 2026 a dishwasher in Montenegro costs from €297.50 for a built-in Candy on Ananas to €1,150 for a Bosch, and the median of the 32 dishwasher listings on Ananas is €362.25. KIPS sells nine Beko and Gorenje dishwashers from €342.99 to €499.99. A slimline 45 cm machine for a small kitchen costs from €303.45. The same model has different prices: the Gorenje GS643E90X costs €499.99 at KIPS and €450.90 from the seller Grmec on Ananas.

What people search for

On 26 September 2026 Google completed masina za sudje (dishwasher) with beko, tehnomax, za 6 osoba (for six people), gorenje, crna gora (Montenegro), ugradna (built-in) and tehnoplus, but also ne prima vodu (does not take in water) and ne izbacuje vodu (does not drain). Google Trends for Montenegro shows dishwashers searched much less often than washing machines and fridges. So people are looking for a brand, a shop and a built-in machine, but also a fix when their machine stops working.

Prices by group

On the marketplace Ananas a search for dishwasher gives 34 results, of which 32 are dishwasher listings and the rest salt and a toy. KIPS has nine Beko and Gorenje dishwashers. We could not read Tehnomax because the site blocks automated reading. How we choose and label price sources is explained in how we measure prices.

In this search Bosch is more expensive than the other brands: the cheapest Bosch costs €480, while the median of the other brands is €328.10. On Ananas 13 listings name a built-in machine, from a built-in Candy at €297.50 to a Bosch at €829.99.

Slimline 45 cm machines

For a small kitchen or holiday apartment there are 45 cm wide machines. On Ananas a freestanding Grund costs from €303.45, a built-in Grund €306, and built-in 45 cm Sharp machines €338.40 and €359.10. A 45 cm machine holds fewer dishes than a 60 cm one, so a family is usually better served by the wider one.

Same model, different price

• Gorenje GS643E90X: €499.99 at KIPS, €450.90 from Grmec on Ananas.

The difference for the same product is €49.09. Beko built-in machines at KIPS cost from €384.39 to €413.67, and from the seller Elektron on Ananas the Beko DIN 34320 costs €365.40, but that is a different model, so we do not compare the prices directly.

Connection

A dishwasher connects to the cold water supply and the sink drain. At KIPS an angle valve costs from €5.49 to €7.47, and a wall tap with an appliance outlet €22.49. A built-in machine goes into a 60 or 45 cm kitchen unit, so the size has to match the kitchen; we write about kitchen prices in our guide to custom kitchens.

Electricity use

Under Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/2017 the energy label of a dishwasher shows energy use in kWh per 100 cycles of the eco programme, the number of standard place settings, water use per cycle, programme duration and noise. By our calculation, a machine rated at 75 kWh per 100 cycles uses about €8.66 of electricity per 100 washes at the EPCG higher tariff of 11.5462 cents per kWh, without VAT and fixed charges. Read that figure on the label and multiply it by the same price.

How to make the machine use less

Run the machine when it is full, because a half load uses almost as much electricity and water as a full one. The eco programme is the one the label consumption is based on, so it uses the least electricity per wash, even though it takes longer than quick programmes. Scrape food leftovers into the bin instead of rinsing dishes under running water, and clean the filter at the bottom of the machine regularly, because a clogged filter slows draining.

If the machine does not take in or drain water

These are common searches, and the cause can be a clogged filter, hose or drain. Before buying a new machine, look at our guide to appliance repair, and if the sink drain is blocked, a plumber can fix it.

A used machine from an ad

A used dishwasher can be cheaper, but buying through an ad carries risk. Fijaka explains in its guide to scams through ads that an account number (IBAN) is all a seller needs to receive money, so a link asking for your card number, CVV or a code from an SMS is not a payment method but data theft. If you have already entered your details, call your bank at once, and report the scam to the police on 122.

What to check before buying

1. The width, 45 or 60 cm, and whether the machine goes into a unit.
2. The number of place settings to suit the household.
3. Consumption per 100 cycles on the energy label.
4. The price of the same model in several shops.
5. A water and drain connection where the machine will stand.

How we measured and what we did not measure

We copied prices from Ananas and KIPS on the day we read them; the groups, medians and calculation are our own. We did not measure washing quality, real-world noise or the price of labour for connection and fitting, because we did not find it published.
