Washing Machines in Montenegro: Prices by Capacity and Price Band, the Same Model at KIPS and Ananas, Connection, Electricity Use and Who Pays for Damage (2026)

On 26 September 2026 a washing machine in Montenegro costs from €249.90 for a 6 kg Tesla on Ananas to €1,750 for a Bosch, and the median of the 50 washing machine listings on Ananas is €407.35. KIPS sells 11 Beko and Gorenje washing machines from €339.99 to €649.99, the most expensive being a washer-dryer. The same model has different prices: the Gorenje WNHPI84AS costs €465.99 at KIPS and €420.30 from the seller Grmec on Ananas. Hoses, a valve and a trap for the connection cost a few euros.

What people search for

On 26 September 2026 Google completed ves masina (washing machine) with gorenje, crna gora (Montenegro), beko, tehnoplus, bosch, dimenzije (dimensions) and tehnomax, and ves masina cijena (washing machine price) with crna gora, gorenje, beko, miele and končar. Google Trends for Montenegro shows washing machines searched about as often as fridges and around twice as often as fans, and the searches go by brand and shop.

Prices by band

On the marketplace Ananas a search for washing machine gives 225 results, of which 50 are listings for washing machines themselves and the rest accessories, detergents and parts. KIPS has 11 Beko and Gorenje washing machines. We could not read Tehnomax because the site blocks automated reading. How we choose and label price sources is explained in how we measure prices.

Most listings, 30 of 50, are between €300 and €500. On Ananas the sellers with the most washing machine listings are Tehno Plus, with 21, and Grmec, with 10.

Price by capacity

For listings that state the capacity in the name, by our calculation:

• 6 kg: three machines from €249.90 to €344.25, median €272.70.
• 7 kg: seven machines from €310.25 to €497.25, median €378.25.
• 8 kg: nine machines from €349.65 to €779.45, median €459.
• 9 kg: four machines from €335.75 to €1,019.15.

A bigger capacity does not always mean a higher price: an 11 kg Candy costs €365.50, less than most 8 kg machines. The price depends more on the brand, the spin speed and extras such as Wi-Fi or an inverter motor.

Same model, different price

• Gorenje WNHPI84AS: €465.99 at KIPS, €420.30 from Grmec on Ananas.
• Gorenje W1NGPI72SBS: €361.99 at KIPS, €373.15 from Tehno Plus on Ananas.

The difference for the same product goes up to €45.69, so it pays to compare shops.

Connection

KIPS sells connection parts: an inlet hose €4.86, a drain hose €4.12, an angle valve for a washing machine from €5.49 to €7.47, a washing machine trap from €2.58 to €4.02 and anti-vibration pads €5.89 a set. Electricity use

Under Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/2014 the energy label of a washing machine shows energy use in kWh per 100 cycles of the eco 40-60 programme, water use per cycle, capacity, programme duration and spin noise. By our calculation, a machine rated at 50 kWh per 100 cycles uses about €5.77 of electricity per 100 washes at the EPCG higher tariff of 11.5462 cents per kWh, without VAT and fixed charges. Read that figure on the label of the model you are choosing and multiply it by the same price.

If the machine causes damage

A washing machine that leaks can damage the floor and the flat below. Fijaka explains in its guide to liability for defective products that from 9 December 2026 new rules apply under which the producer is liable for damage caused by a defective product regardless of fault, and the injured party claims compensation within three years of learning of the damage and the liable person, and at the latest ten years after the product was placed on the market.

Delivery and repair

Ask the shop whether delivery and removal of the old machine are included in the price. What to check before buying

1. Dimensions and the door opening, especially for a machine that goes under a worktop.
2. Capacity to suit the household, because a pricier big drum does not wash small loads better.
3. Consumption per 100 cycles on the energy label.
4. The price of the same model in several shops.
5. Delivery, connection and removal of the old machine, and whether they are included.

We copied prices from Ananas and KIPS on the day we read them; the bands, medians and calculation are our own. We did not measure washing quality, durability or the price of a plumber's work for the connection, because we did not find it published.
