Bathtubs in Montenegro: Prices of Acrylic, Whirlpool and Freestanding Tubs, Mixers and Installation (2026)

A 120x70 cm acrylic bathtub without a panel cost €131.49 at KIPS on 26 September 2026, an Altea bathtub with a panel and supporting frame from €306.99 for 140x70 to €449.99 for 180x80, and a freestanding bathtub from €749.99. Emanuel Gruppe charges €100 to €180 to install a bathtub or shower enclosure, and €30 to €50 to fit a mixer.

On 26 September 2026 Google completed kada cijena (bathtub price) with crna gora (Montenegro), podgorica, kada 130x70 cijena, kada 160x70 cijena and ugaona kada cijena (corner bathtub price), and kada za kupatilo (bathroom bathtub) with crna gora, sa vratima (with a door), dimenzije (dimensions) and polovna (used). With akrilna kada (acrylic bathtub) it offered iskustva (reviews), sa oblogom (with a panel), montaza (installation) and sizes from 120x70 to 170x70, and with ugradnja kade (bathtub installation) ugradnja kade u kadu (bath-in-bath liner), sa oblogom and obzidavanjem (with tiled surround). People also search for kada kips, kada okov and samostojeca kada crna gora (freestanding bathtub Montenegro). In English and Russian Google had no suggestions for bathtubs in Montenegro.

Acrylic bathtubs with and without a panel

On 26 September 2026 a search for kada at KIPS returned 79 products, 43 of them bathtubs, and the rest were shower trays and bathroom accessories. The cheapest are 5 mm acrylic tubs without a panel, with an MDF board in the base, which are built in and tiled. Altea and Sepium tubs come with a panel and a galvanised-pipe frame. Unlike a tub without a panel, a tub with a panel does not need to be built in, which saves on masonry and tiles around the tub. What installation costs

Emanuel Gruppe, in its sanitary-ware installation price list modified on 24 October 2025, lists installing a bathtub or shower enclosure at €100 to €180, including the trap, glass and panels where needed, and fitting a tap at €30 to €50. When an old tub is removed or extra work is needed, the price is set after an on-site visit. The same price list gives €60 to €100 for fitting a toilet and cistern and €50 to €80 for a washbasin or bidet, so for a full bathroom the installations add up. Example: replacing a bathtub

This is our calculation using the prices in the tables, without removing the old tub and tiles:

• Tub with a panel: Altea 160x70 €330.99, Cerabase mixer with shower €119.90, trap €6.90 and strip €7.49 make €465.28 of materials; with bathtub installation at €100 to €180 and mixer fitting at €30 to €50, €595.28 to €695.28 in total.
• Tub without a panel: Paloma 140x70 €143.99, Minotti Ekonomik mixer €39.78 and trap €6.90 make €190.67 of materials; with installation and mixer fitting, €320.67 to €420.67, but without masonry and tiles.
• Difference: the tub without a panel is about €275 cheaper, but needs masonry and tiles around it, which we did not count here.

A used bathtub

Alongside kada za kupatilo, people search for polovna (used). A used bathtub from an ad is bought from a private individual, so consumer protection law does not apply as it does when buying from a trader, which Fijaka explains together with other rules for second-hand purchases in its guide to buying second-hand goods. On 26 September 2026 Glatko had 8 verified plumbers, four from Podgorica, two from Tivat and one each from Budva and Bar, and four more professionals in the kitchen and bathroom category, all four from Podgorica. The invoice of a registered professional goes through the Tax Administration's electronic fiscalisation system.

What to ask the plumber

1. Whether removing the old tub and taking it away is included in the price.
2. Whether the tub fits the opening and whether it is left or right.
3. Whether the tub is built in or comes with a panel.
4. Whether the trap is included and the mixer connection.
5. How the joint between tub and wall is sealed and whether waterproofing is done.

What we did not measure

Bathtub prices come from two shops on the day we read them, with KIPS carrying almost all models; the installation price comes from one published price list. We did not measure the cost of removing an old tub, masonry and tiles, or prices of used bathtubs in ads.
