Coffee Machines in Montenegro: Prices of Espresso, Capsule, Filter and Automatic Machines at Okov, KIPS and on Ananas, and the Cost of One Cup (2026)
On 27 September 2026 a coffee machine in Montenegro costs from €35 for a Bosch filter machine on Ananas to €2,050 for a Bosch Siemens automatic machine. An espresso machine with a portafilter starts at €89.10, and the median of 37 such machines on Ananas is €170. The median of eight capsule machines is €122.83, and automatic machines with a built-in grinder start at €433.50, with a median of €704.65.
You buy the machine once, but you pay for coffee every day: by our count a cup from capsules costs €0.35 to €0.63, and from coffee beans about €0.27. What people search for
According to Google Trends for Montenegro over the last 12 months, the term aparat za kafu (coffee machine) had an average index of 5, against 35 for usisivac (vacuum cleaner) and 58 for laptop in the same comparison. On 27 September 2026 Google completed aparat za kafu with lavazza, tehnomax, na kapsule (capsule), crna gora, dolce gusto, cungu, temaso, okov and podgorica, and aparat za espresso (espresso machine) with sa mlinom (with grinder), lidl and kupujemprodajem. So people are looking for a specific shop, a capsule system and a machine that grinds the beans itself.
Prices by machine type
On the marketplace Ananas a search for coffee machine gives 119 results. We removed grinders, milk frothers, cleaning tablets, toys and the rest, which left 70 machines. How we choose and label price sources is explained in how we measure prices.
- Filter machines (8): from €35 for the Bosch TKA2801 and €36 for the Philips HD 7140 to €175 for the Siemens TC911P2; median €54.99.
- Electric pots and machines for Turkish-style coffee (4): First electric pot €22.95, Arzum Okka Minio €60.50 and Gorenje ATCM730T from €83.70.
- Capsule machines (8): from €97.75 for the Krups Dolce Gusto Piccolo XS, through €121.55 for the De'Longhi Nespresso Inisia, to €169.15 for the Krups KP440E10; median €122.83.
- Espresso machines with a portafilter (37): from €89.10 for the Gorenje ESCM12MBK to €282 for the Zepter Zepresso Mondrian; median €170.
- Automatic with a built-in grinder (13): from €433.50 for the Gaggia Naviglio Milk, through €446.25 for the De'Longhi Magnifica Start, to €2,050 for the Bosch Siemens TQ907R03; median €704.65.
At Okov there were 30 machines, from €79.90 for the Krups Dolce Gusto Piccolo XS to €1,499 for the De'Longhi Primadonna Soul, with a median of €289.45. They include the De'Longhi Stilosa for €159.90, the Dedica Style for €249 and the Magnifica S from €469. At KIPS a Tefal filter machine costs €34.99, a Beko filter machine €49.41, the Beko BKK 2300 Turkish coffee machine €99.99, and Beko espresso machines €172.50 and €199.99.
On Ananas Tehno Plus offers the most machines, 34, followed by ANANAS SHOP with 22 and BELLA NAPOLI with nine. The most common brand is Bosch with 12 machines.
Same model, different price
We found five machines at two or more sellers. Grmec offers the same Gorenje espresso machine in two listings, for €121.50 and €126.

For the same Gorenje Turkish coffee machine the gap is €35.05, and for the Gorenje espresso machine €47.25. Tehno Plus offers the De'Longhi Magnifica Start in black for €446.25 with the code ECAM220.21.B, and Okov for €599 without a code, so we do not claim it is the same version. The Piccolo XS at Okov is black, and at Tehno Plus white.
What one cup costs
On Ananas 100 Toraldo capsules compatible with Nespresso cost €35, ten of the same capsules €5, and ten Lavazza capsules for Nespresso €6.29. That is €0.35, €0.50 and €0.63 per cup. Sixteen Toraldo capsules for Dolce Gusto with coffee and ginseng cost €7, about €0.44 each. A kilogram of Toraldo arabica beans costs €39; counting about seven grams per espresso, that is about 142 cups and about €0.27 per cup.
By our calculation, the automatic De'Longhi Magnifica Start for €446.25 costs €324.70 more than the Nespresso Inisia for €121.55. If you drink €0.63 capsules, beans save about €0.36 per cup and the difference pays back after about 900 cups, so in about 15 months with two coffees a day. With €0.35 capsules the saving is about €0.08 and the difference pays back only after more than 4,000 cups. We do not count electricity, water, cleaning products or servicing.
Hard water builds up limescale faster, so makers recommend a filter and regular cleaning: on Ananas a filter for coffee machines costs €17, and Bosch cleaning tablets €13.90. We write about tap water in our guide to water filters.
What EU rules say about switch-off
Regulation (EU) 2023/826 on standby power consumption sets the maximum time a household coffee machine may stay on after the last brewing cycle before it switches itself to standby or off. For a filter machine with an insulated jug it is five minutes, for a filter machine with a non-insulated jug 40 minutes, and for all other coffee machines 30 minutes. If the machine does this, you do not have to switch it off by hand.

How we measured and what we did not measure
We copied prices from Ananas, Okov and KIPS on the day we read them, including prices before discount where shown; the sorting, medians, comparisons and calculation are ours. We did not measure coffee quality, pump pressure or power use, and we left grinders, frothers and toys out of the medians.
