Clothes hangers in Montenegro: prices of plastic, wooden, velvet and aluminium hangers at KIPS, Okov and on Ananas and the price per hanger (2026)
On 28 September 2026 a clothes hanger costs from €0.25 each (a children's 6-pack at Okov for €1.49) and €0.27 (Sabrina 6-pack at KIPS for €1.60) to €2 each (gold-coloured aluminium 5-pack at Okov for €9.99). A wooden hanger costs from €0.81 each, and a set of 20 velvet hangers on Ananas €16, or €0.80 each.

What people search for
In Google Trends for Montenegro over the last 12 months, the term vjesalice (hangers), compared with usisivac (vacuum cleaner), had an average of 1, peaking at 26 in the week from 30 August 2026, and Trends had too little data for related queries.
On 28 September 2026 Google completed vjesalice (hangers) with okov, cungu, za jakne (for jackets), jysk, jumbo, za hodnik (for the hallway), za odjeću (for clothes), za ves (for laundry) and za pantalone (for trousers), and vesalice (hangers) with za garderobu (for clothes), pepco, za peskire u kupatilu (for bathroom towels), za pantalone (for trousers), za garderobu cena (for clothes, price), za jakne (for jackets) and meso (meat). So the word vješalica means both a clothes hanger and a coat rack or hook for the hallway and bathroom, which is why we separated them in this article.

Hangers at Okov
At Okov the first pages of the vjesalice and vjesalica searches had 26 packs of hangers. A children's 6-pack costs €1.49, Eisho hangers with clips €1.99 for two and €2.29 for three, a plastic 10-pack with a swivel hook €4.49 and an Eisho 10-pack €5.49. A wooden 3-pack costs €2.44 instead of €3.49, an Eisho wooden 6-pack €5.99 and a 10-pack €9.99.
A satin 5-pack costs €5.99, an Eisho soft-touch 5-pack €7.99, and an aluminium 5-pack €8.99, or €9.99 in gold. Also on sale were a Dirt Devil 3-pack for €2.09 instead of €2.99 and a Burstenmann 2-pack for €2.73 instead of €3.90.
Hangers at KIPS and on Ananas
At KIPS the search for vješalica returned 42 results, mostly Deante bathroom and wall hooks from €16.99 to €32.49 and Marbomil from €5.49 to €16.99. The Sabrina 6-pack of clothes hangers costs €1.60, the Lily 4-pack €1.60, the Turny 4-pack €3.48, a 10-pack set €4.49 and wooden ones €1.49 for one and €3.99 for three.
On Ananas most items called vješalica are Opviq pendants, which are lamps, so we removed them. Rox clothes hangers cost €1.46 for three and €2.77 for six, plastic-coated metal 10-pack €3.69, a plastic 8-pack €5.45, a wooden 3-pack €4.35 and a wooden 8-pack €10.90. Oskar velvet hangers cost €16 for 20 pieces, white ones €20, and the CRP41G set of 20 €22.40.
Pull-out rails and coat racks
Wardrobe parts are sold next to hangers. A GTV pull-out hanger rail costs €1.69 for 300 mm and €1.99 for 350 mm at Okov, and €1.41 for 40 cm on Ananas. A freestanding double coat rack on Ananas costs €9.18 on sale, and RAMOND wall coat racks from €12.22 to €70.71. We did not count these products in the price per hanger, since they are not hung in a wardrobe like hangers.
Price per hanger
By our calculation, the cheapest is the children's hanger at Okov (€0.25 each) and the Sabrina at KIPS (€0.27), then the metal one on Ananas (€0.37), the Lily at KIPS (€0.40) and the plastic 10-pack at KIPS and Okov (€0.45). A wooden hanger costs from €0.81 (Okov, 3-pack on sale) to €1.49 (KIPS, single), a velvet one €0.80 and €1, the CRP41G set €1.12, satin €1.20, soft-touch €1.60 and aluminium from €1.80 to €2, eight times the cheapest.

When a hanger is packaging under EU rules
In Annex I, Regulation (EU) 2025/40 on packaging and packaging waste gives an indicative list of what is and is not packaging. A clothes hanger sold with a clothing item is listed as packaging, and a hanger sold separately as an item that is not packaging. A hanger that comes with clothes from a shop or a dry cleaner therefore falls under the packaging rules, while a set you buy for your wardrobe does not. Montenegro is not an EU member, but hangers from the dry cleaner are worth returning to them or reusing.
On Glatko
On 28 September 2026 Glatko had one verified furniture assembly provider and one made-to-measure built-in furniture provider, both from Podgorica.
What to check before buying
- The material: plastic for everyday clothes, wood for coats and jackets.
- The width: 38 to 45 cm for adults, less for children's clothes.
- Velvet or rubber against slipping for thin blouses.
- Clips or a bar for trousers and skirts.
- The price per hanger, not per pack, since the difference reaches eightfold.
How we measured and what we did not measure
We copied prices from KIPS, Okov and Ananas on the day we read them, with the pre-discount price where shown; the price per hanger is ours. We took the number of pieces from the name and removed Opviq pendants, which are lamps, wall coat racks, pull-out wardrobe rails, moth repellents and toys. At Okov we read the first pages of two searches. We did not measure the load capacity of hangers.
