Cutlery Sets in Montenegro: Prices for 6 and 12 People and Baby Cutlery on Ananas and at KIPS, by the Piece or a Set, and EU Plastics Rules (2026)
On 27 September 2026 a 24-piece cutlery set, for six people, costs from €19.90 to €189.90 on Ananas, with a median of €47.60 across 21 sets. At KIPS, InoxRiv 24-piece sets cost from €19.49 to €71.49, with a median of €38.24, and for 12 people, 48 pieces, from €60.59 to €156.49. The same cutlery bought piece by piece at KIPS can be cheaper than the set.

What people search for
In Google Trends for Montenegro over the last 12 months, the term escajg (cutlery set), compared with usisivac (vacuum cleaner), had an average of 1, peaking at 38 in the week from 19 October 2025, with values of 5 and 3 in September 2026. On 27 September 2026 Google completed escajg with okov, cungu, metalac crna gora, za 12 osoba (for twelve people), metalac, delimano and za 6 osoba (for six people), and pribor za jelo (cutlery) with za bebe (for babies), za kampovanje (for camping), pepco, ikea and metalac. So people look for cutlery for six and twelve people, Metalac and baby cutlery.

Cutlery on Ananas
On Ananas the cheapest 24-piece set is a Kaiserhoff in a wooden box at €19.90, and the Lamart LT5002 costs €25.40. Rocky Pistolato 24-piece sets cost from €25.90 to €35.90, the TCC Leona €30, and the Lamart LT5014 €31.24. The Berlinger Haus Mirror Silver costs €40 and €45, the Metalac St. Peterburg II €47.60, and the Berlinger Haus Rose Gold €55.
More expensive sets are the 24-piece Coincasa at €80.50, the WMF Bistro at €149.90 and the WMF Signum at €189.90. Large sets cost from €65 for the 60-piece TCC Leona to €584.90 for a 68-piece Villeroy & Boch, and the 60-piece WMF Sara Stone €249. Baby cutlery starts at €2.90 for a set of Canpol melamine spoons, a Chicco fork and spoon cost €5.90 and €8.90, a FREEON stainless steel set €12.50, and the WMF Cars II for children €44.99.
Cutlery at KIPS and Okov
At KIPS the search returned 62 items, almost all InoxRiv. 24-piece sets cost €19.49 for the Kitchen, €25.49 for the Rossella, €28.99 for the Aisha, €47.49 for the Tiziano, €50.99 for the Ottocento and €71.49 for the Design Aisha. 48-piece sets cost from €60.59 for the Hilton to €156.49 for the Novecento Frozen Luxury, and the 16-piece Hilton €19.49. OSCAR drawer organisers cost from €7.35 for 35 cm to €23.29 for 100 cm.
At Okov the search returned 142 products, but the first page was full of organisers and holders, with no cutlery sets. A drawer organiser costs from €1.39 for a plastic one with four compartments to €20.90 for an adjustable bamboo one, and the adjustable 5five Poly was €5.49 instead of €7.99.
Piece by piece or a set
At KIPS the Rossella is also sold by the piece: a spoon and a fork at €0.83 each, a knife at €0.99 and a teaspoon at €0.61. For six people, four pieces each, that is €19.56, while the 24-piece Rossella set costs €25.49, so buying by the piece is €5.93 cheaper. The Italia by the piece for six people costs €20.22. For 12 people two Rossella sets cost €50.98, and the 48-piece Hilton €60.59.
Price and calculation
By our calculation, the median for a 24-piece set on Ananas is €9.36 higher than at KIPS. The cheapest set in both shops costs about €20, and the WMF Signum is almost ten times more expensive. What the EU requires of food-contact plastics
Under Regulation (EU) No 10/2011, in the version of 14 July 2026, plastic articles must not release more than 10 mg of constituents per square decimetre of surface, and those for food for infants and young children at most 60 mg per kilogram. For melamine, which some children's spoons are made of, the specific migration limit is 2.5 mg per kilogram of food, while in the 2011 text it was 30 mg. Do not use melamine cutlery for hot food or in the microwave unless the instructions allow it.

On 27 September 2026 Glatko had four verified kitchen and bathroom providers from Podgorica and one verified furniture assembly provider from Podgorica.
What to check before buying
- The number of people: 24 pieces are for six, 48 for twelve people.
- The steel grade, for example 18/10 or 18/0.
- Whether it is dishwasher-safe.
- Whether the same model is sold by the piece.
- The material of baby cutlery: stainless steel, silicone or melamine.
How we measured and what we did not measure
We copied prices from Ananas, KIPS and Okov on the day we read them, including pre-discount prices where shown; the groups and medians are ours. We took the number of pieces from the name, and from Ananas we removed placemats, drainers, cookers and dishwashers. At Okov we read only the first page of the search. We did not measure steel quality or knife sharpness.
