Beds in Montenegro: Prices of Double and Single Beds, Bed Frames, Slatted Bases and Bunk Beds at JYSK, KIPS and Ananas, and What a Bed with a Mattress Costs (2026)

On 26 September 2026 a 160x200 double bed frame in Montenegro costs from €169.79 for the Forma Ideale Salona at KIPS and from €200 for the ABILDRO at JYSK, and ten models in that size at JYSK cost from €200 to €600. A 90x200 single bed at KIPS starts at €118.99, and a slatted base at JYSK at €23. On Ananas 16 double bed listings cost from €280.20 to €1,109.70, with a median of €650.02. By our calculation, the cheapest complete double bed, base and mattress from these sources costs €352.27.

What people search for

On 26 September 2026 Google completed krevet cijena (bed price) with jysk, duseci za krevet (mattresses for a bed), bracni krevet cijena (double bed price), medicinski (medical), bolnički (hospital) and vodeni krevet (water bed). Google Trends for Montenegro shows the word bed searched more than twice as often as washing machine, although that word also covers searches that are not about buying. People are looking for a double bed, a shop and a mattress for the bed.

Double bed frames 160x200

JYSK has 54 products in its bed frame category, including ten models in the 160x200 size, and KIPS sells Forma Ideale beds and the locally made Violeta and Samac beds. How we choose and label price sources is explained in how we measure prices.

The median of the ten 160x200 frames at JYSK is €460. At KIPS, the Forma Ideale double beds and the locally made Violeta are cheaper than most JYSK frames, so KIPS is the cheapest source for a double bed in this overview.

Single beds and other sizes

At KIPS the Samac Z bed costs €118.99 in 80x190, 80x200, 90x190 and 90x200, the Violeta single 90x200 €183.49, and a 140x200 bed €204.99. At JYSK the KONGSBERG 90x200 is on sale at €175 instead of €350, and the same model in 180x200 costs €225. A 180x200 frame at JYSK costs from €220 for the ABILDRO to €650 for the HASLEV.

Slatted bases

A frame without a slatted base does not hold a mattress, so check whether a base is included. JYSK sells bases from €23 for the BALFJORDEN 70x200 to €130 for the BOTN 160x200, and the HEMSIL 140x200 costs €80. At KIPS a base for a 90 bed costs €31.19, for a 120 €44.75, and for a 160 €52.99.

Double beds on Ananas

On Ananas a search for double bed gives 108 results, mostly bedding, and 16 are listings for beds themselves. Nine of them have storage under the mattress, from €530 to €1,109.70. A solid beech bed from the seller Nino Design costs €520 and €799, depending on the version.

What a complete bed costs

This is our calculation from the published prices, for a 160x200 double bed:

• Cheapest, from KIPS: Salona 160 frame €169.79 + 160 base €52.99 + Fafflex Standard 160x200 mattress €129.49 = €352.27.
• From JYSK: ABILDRO frame €200 + BOTN 160x200 base €130 + GLOMMA GF30 160x200 mattress €300 on sale = €630.

Wooden or upholstered

At JYSK the VEDDE, OLSKER, ELLINGE and STUBBERUP frames are oak or oak-look, while the VEMMELEV is covered in fabric. A wooden frame wipes clean more easily and does not collect dust, while an upholstered one gives a softer headboard, but the fabric needs vacuuming or washing now and then. For a holiday apartment with guests, a frame that is easy to clean is more practical, while for a bedroom where you read in bed an upholstered headboard is more comfortable. Solid wood, like the beech from Nino Design, is usually heavier and more stable than chipboard.

Bunk beds and guest beds

KIPS sells a 90x200 bunk bed for €280.49. JYSK has folding guest beds from €120 for the BAJLUM 80x190 to €240 for the DAMSBRO 90x200, useful for guests or a holiday apartment.

Shopping and closed days

Fijaka explains in its guide to public holidays that since 19 February 2026 shops may not open on Sundays and public holidays, with a few exceptions such as pharmacies, bakeries and petrol stations. So plan a visit to furniture showrooms for a weekday or Saturday.

Assembly, delivery and warranty

The Consumer Protection Law (Official Gazette of Montenegro 12/2026) has been in force since 14 February 2026 and governs the buyer's rights when a product is defective, so keep the receipt.

On 26 September 2026 Glatko had one verified furniture assembler from Podgorica and three verified providers for single-item transport, two from Podgorica and one from Herceg Novi.

What to check before buying

1. The mattress size, because a 160x200 frame needs a mattress of the same size.
2. Whether the slatted base is included in the frame price.
3. The bed height and storage, if you have no wardrobe for bedding.
4. The load capacity, especially for a bunk bed.
5. Delivery and assembly, and whether they are included.

How we measured and what we did not measure

We copied prices from JYSK, KIPS and Ananas on the day we read them, including prices before discount where shown; the median and the set calculation are ours. We did not check whether the KIPS frame price includes a base, and we did not measure material quality or the price of assembly, because we did not find it published.
