Interest comes from Podgorica.
On 28 September 2026 Google completed ledjna prskalica (backpack sprayer) with na baterije (battery-powered), akumulatorska (cordless), motorna (engine) and aku (battery). So people mostly look for a battery sprayer, which saves pumping by hand.

Verto in 1, 1.5 and 2 l costs €4.29, €4.49 and €4.99 (regular price €5.99, €6.49 and €7.19), Volpi 2 l €7.99, Kingjet 1.5 l €8.99, Kingjet 8 l €16.99, and Stilla 5 and 10 l €27.90 and €29.90. Volpi 8 l costs €34.90, and the Stihl SG 31 5 l €64.20.
Volpi backpack pumps with a brass piston cost €59.90 for 15 l and €69.90 for 20 l, and the 16 l Volpi battery model €169. Einhell battery sprayers without battery cost €99.90 for 3.5 l and €169.90 for 15 l, and an engine backpack sprayer €149.

Hand sprayers cost from €3.75 for 2 l to €19.99 for 10 l, and Solo from €18.99 for 2 l to €49.99 for 7 l. A 16 l manual backpack sprayer costs €27.99, and the 15 l Solo 425B €99.49. Battery sprayers cost €47.99 for 16 l, €101.29 for a 6 l Solo and €130 for a 16 l Solo, and a 12 l Solo engine mist blower €667.79.
On Ananas the searches for leđna prskalica and pumpa za prskanje returned 29 sprayers, with a median of €33.50. Manual backpack sprayers cost from €18.35 for an 8 l Nakayama to €35 for a 16 l backpack pump; Dolomite, Verdemax, Somafix and Nakayama models of 12 and 16 l cost between €24.75 and €28, and the Lux 16 €33. Battery sprayers cost from €38.25 to €299 for a 16 l Solo, and Nakayama engine sprayers €166, €179.50 and €499. The 5 l Solo 461 costs €40.99 at KIPS and €45 on Ananas.
Which sprayer to choose
For indoor and balcony plants a 1 to 2 l hand sprayer is enough, and for a vegetable garden and a few roses or fruit trees a 5 to 8 l pressure sprayer you pump by hand. For an orchard, vineyard or large garden take a 15 to 20 l backpack sprayer, because you carry it on your back and keep your hands free. A battery sprayer saves pumping and holds a steady pressure, so it gives an even spray, while engine sprayers and mist blowers are for large areas and tall trees.
Look for a brass piston and nozzles, an adjustable spray, spare seals and a wide filling opening. Use a separate sprayer for herbicides and plant protection products, not the one for fertiliser and water, and rinse it with clean water after each use. What the EU requires of machinery for pesticide application
Directive 2009/127/EC added point 2.4 on machinery for pesticide application to Annex I of Directive 2006/42/EC on machinery. The manufacturer must assess the risk of unintended exposure of the environment to pesticides, and leakage must be prevented at all times. Application must be easy to control and to stop immediately, filling and emptying must avoid spillage and contamination of the water source, the rate must be easy to adjust, and drift of pesticide off target must be minimised. The machinery must be easy to clean thoroughly.
Montenegro is not an EU member, but the same rules apply in the garden: do not spray in wind or before rain, do not fill the sprayer next to a well or stream and do not pour leftovers down the drain. Wear gloves, goggles and a mask, read the product instructions and respect the pre-harvest interval.

We counted battery sprayers as they are listed, with or without a battery. We did not measure pressure or spray range.
