Thermos flasks in Montenegro: 0.5 and 1 l bottle and mug prices on Ananas, at KIPS and Okov, Stanley and Voden, price per litre and the EU ban on BPA (2026)

On 27 September 2026 a thermos on Ananas costs from €5 to €45.05, with a median of €17.49 across 73 listings. At KIPS the median is €13.39 across 29 Ibili thermoses, and at Okov €17.99 across 32 thermoses on the first page of the search. A 1 l Voden costs €22.10, Stanley from €27.99 to €38.99, and a 0.5 l Ibili from €10.49.

What people search for

In Google Trends for Montenegro over the last 12 months, the term termos (thermos), compared with usisivac (vacuum cleaner), had an average of 1, peaking at 27 in the week from 14 June 2026, with September values of 13, 11 and 17. Among the top related queries Trends listed vitapur (100), termos za vodu (water thermos, 75), termos za hranu (food thermos, 63), stanley termos (40) and termos za kafu (coffee thermos, 14). On 27 September 2026 Google completed termos with za vodu (for water), za hranu (for food), za hranu za bebe (for baby food), termosi za djecu (children's thermoses) and za kafu (for coffee), and termos boca (thermos bottle) with za vodu (for water), dm, pepco, za djecu (for children), lidl, 1l and za bicikl (for a bicycle).

Thermoses on Ananas

On Ananas the search returned 364 results, and we read 288. Among them were many plain bottles, corks and caps, so 73 thermoses remained, from €5 to €45.05, with a median of €17.49. The cheapest is a 1 l Fisher for €5, and 300 ml Diamond thermoses cost €5.90.

Voden was on sale: its thermos bottle costs €20.40 for 0.5 l, €21.25 for 0.75 l and €22.10 for 1 l, a 1 l food flask €28.90, and a bottle with a filter €39.95 for 0.5 l and €45.05 for 0.75 l. DOMY costs €12.63 for 0.5 l and €13.76 and €19.56 for 1 l. Gicos costs €10.45 for 0.45 l and €11.99 for 0.75 l, and the stainless steel Sigma €6.29 for 220 ml and €13.49 for 1 l.

Stanley is the most expensive: a 350 ml camp mug costs €27.99, the 0.47 l AeroLight €28.79, the 0.7 l IceFlow €33.59 and €38.39, and the 0.35 l AeroLight €38.99. Kick children's thermoses cost €5.90, a Sencor thermos jug €17.49 and a 1 l Xiaomi thermal tumbler €21.90.

Thermoses at KIPS and Okov

At KIPS the search returned 75 results, 29 of them Ibili thermoses, from €10.49 to €20.99, with a median of €13.39. A 0.5 l thermos has a median of €12.99, 0.75 l ones cost €12.59, €13.99 and €19.49, and a 1 l one €20.99. A 0.3 l mini thermos costs €16.39.

At Okov the search returned 304 products, and the first page had 32 thermoses, from €8.99 to €21.90, with a median of €17.99. The Estia Save the Aegean in 360 and 500 ml costs €17.99, 5five €8.99 for 500 ml and €12.49 for 1,000 ml, and a 300 ml Tefal Coffee-To-Go mug €14.99. H&H children's thermoses with cartoon characters cost from €17.99 to €21.90, and a 500 ml Tognana €9.99.

Price per litre and calculation

By our calculation, a 1 l Voden is only €1.70 more than a 0.5 l Voden, so a litre in the bigger bottle costs almost half as much. The 1,000 ml 5five at Okov costs €12.49 per litre, and the 500 ml one €17.98 per litre. A 0.5 l Ibili at KIPS at the median is €7.41 cheaper than a Voden of the same capacity. A 350 ml Stanley costs €79.97 per litre, and a 1 l Fisher €5.

What the EU ban on BPA means for thermoses

Commission Regulation (EU) 2024/3190 bans the use of bisphenol A in the manufacture of food contact materials and the placing of such products on the EU market. In 2023 the European Food Safety Authority set a tolerable daily intake of 0.2 ng per kilogram of body weight, and estimated exposure exceeds it a hundred to a thousand times. Reusable products such as thermoses and bottles with plastic lids made with BPA may be placed on the market for the first time until 20 July 2026, and remain on sale until 20 January 2029 at the latest. Montenegro is not an EU member, but a BPA-free label on the lid and cup is worth checking.

On Glatko

On 27 September 2026 Glatko had one verified tourism experiences provider from Kotor, and eight plumbers: four from Podgorica, two from Tivat and one each from Budva and Bar.

What to check before buying

1. The capacity: 0.5 l for a day in town, 1 l for the mountains or two people.
2. The purpose: a water bottle, a coffee mug or a food flask.
3. The material: a stainless steel inside.
4. The lid: it should not leak and should say BPA-free.
5. Washing: whether it may go in the dishwasher.

How we measured and what we did not measure

We copied prices from Ananas, KIPS and Okov on the day we read them; the groups, medians and price per litre are ours. We took the capacity from the name and removed plain bottles, corks, caps, filters and silicone. On Ananas we read 288 of 364 results, and at Okov the first page of the search. We did not measure how long the thermoses keep drinks hot or cold.
