Tara Zipline and Nevidio Canyoning: Prices, Duration, Requirements and the Closed Bridge (2026)

The zipline at the Đurđevića Tara bridge cost €20 per person for the 350 m Red Rock line on 26 September 2026, €30 for the 670 m Montenegro line and €45 for the 1,050 m Tara Extreme line, according to the Durmitor Adventure price list. Canyoning through Nevidio with six operators cost from €110, without transport and lunch, to €175 per person with breakfast, lunch and transport.

What people search for

On 26 September 2026 Google completed zip line tara with cena and cijena (price), crna gora (Montenegro), bridge, green and green extreme, and zip line with budva, pluzine, djurdjevica tara, kotor, piva and njeguši. With kanjon nevidio (Nevidio canyon) it offered ture (tours), cena, cijena, iskustva (reviews), mapa (map) and temperatura vode (water temperature), and with kanjoning (canyoning) nevidio, tara, crna gora, durmitor and zabljak. In English it completed tara zipline with price, extreme and opening hours, and in Russian it offered зиплайн черногория цена (zipline Montenegro price). In Google Trends for Montenegro, zip line peaked in July and August, with most searches from the Žabljak and Pljevlja area.

Zipline at the Tara bridge

Durmitor Adventure runs three lines across the Tara canyon. According to its FAQ, it operates every day from 1 May to 1 October, in April and October depending on the weather, no booking is needed, and there is free parking across the road from the start. For the Montenegro and Extreme lines return transport is included, while from Red Rock, according to the same FAQ, you walk back across the bridge in about 10 minutes. The youngest visitor was two years old, and children up to seven or eight fly with an adult. In July and August queues are possible between 13h and 15h.

The zipline and the closed bridge

The Đurđevića Tara bridge is closed to all vehicles and pedestrians from 10 August to 26 October 2026 while the deck is rebuilt, and Fijaka describes the Vrulja-Mijakovići detour in its article on the bridge closure and the detour. Because the return from Red Rock is planned across the bridge and the zipline season runs until 1 October, check with the operator before you travel which line is running and how you get back.

Canyoning through Nevidio

Nevidio is the canyon of the Komarnica river below Durmitor, about 2 km long according to Monte River. According to the operators, the passage takes two to four hours, and the whole tour with Durmitor Adventure, including transport and kitting out, five to seven hours:

Montenegro Canyoning includes the guide, equipment, footwear, photos, all fees and insurance, but not transport or lunch. Monte River and Blue River Tara include breakfast, lunch, transport and insurance. Durmitor Adventure provides a 5 mm neoprene suit, helmet, harness and neoprene boots, and asks guests to pay in cash until the end of the season.

Age and swimming requirements

Requirements differ by operator. Montenegro Canyoning takes participants aged 12 to 65, Durmitor Adventure children from about 10, with a parent's signature for minors, and Blue River Tara and Monte River only adults who can swim. For its rafting and Nevidio combination, Tara Sport takes children over 10 and lists a €5 Piva Regional Nature Park fee that is not included.

Example: a Durmitor day for two

This is our calculation using the prices in the tables:

• Zipline for two: Red Rock 2 × €20 = €40, or Tara Extreme 2 × €45 = €90.
• Nevidio without transport or lunch: Montenegro Canyoning 2 × €110 = €220.
• Nevidio with transport and meals: Blue River Tara 2 × €130 = €260.
• Difference: the package with transport and meals costs €40 more for two, and it includes the lunch you would otherwise pay for separately.

Who does this on Glatko

On 26 September 2026 Glatko had six categories in tourism experiences, from city tours to hiking and day trips, and one verified guide, from Kotor, for city tours; there were no requests. For a paid tour ask for a fiscal receipt, which is issued through the Tax Administration's electronic fiscalisation system.

What to ask the operator

1. Whether transport, lunch and fees are included in the price.
2. Which zipline line is running and how you get back while the bridge is closed.
3. What the age limits are and whether you must be able to swim.
4. How many people make a group and whether you can join an existing one.
5. Whether you pay in cash or by card.

What we did not measure

Prices are from the operators' websites on the day we read them; we did not check whether the zipline runs during the bridge closure, or group and child prices with every operator. Canyon length and duration come from the operators' descriptions, which differ from one another.
