Phone Repair in Montenegro: Screen and Battery Replacement Prices for iPhone, Samsung and Xiaomi (2026)

A screen replacement on an iPhone at iCentar, the Apple authorised service in Podgorica, costs from €355 for the iPhone XR and 11 to €735 for the iPhone 16 Pro Max, and a battery replacement €160, or €180 for the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max. The independent shop Servis Podgorica quotes €80 to €220 for an iPhone screen, €60 to €120 for replacing the glass only and €30 to €80 for a battery, depending on the brand.

Apple authorised service: iCentar

iCentar has been the Apple authorised service in Montenegro since 2012 and works with original Apple parts. On 25 September 2026 its service page carried a price list from April 2025. How we choose and label price sources is explained in how we measure prices.

The same list gives a rear camera replacement at €200 to €400, a front TrueDepth camera at €300 to €395 and the bottom speaker at €190. The screen is not replaced if the device has a damaged housing or has been exposed to liquid; the device is then handled under Apple's service procedure.

This is our comparison at prices read on 25 September 2026:

• iPhone 13 screen: €500 at iCentar, €130 to €220 at the independent shop, a difference of €280 to €370.
• iPhone 13 battery: €160 at iCentar, €40 to €80 at the independent shop.
• iPhone 11 screen: €355 at iCentar, €80 to €150 at the independent shop.

The difference lies in the parts and the warranty: iCentar fits original Apple parts and keeps the device warranty, while the independent shop offers original or OEM parts with its own 3 to 6 month warranty. Servis Podgorica also names a third kind, aftermarket screens, as the cheapest and acceptable for older models.

How long a repair takes

According to iCentar, a repair takes 7 to 10 days depending on the fault, and a battery replacement 20 to 30 days. Servis Podgorica advertises fast repairs but does not publish a turnaround; it depends on whether the part is in stock, so ask when you hand the phone in.

Repair or buy a new phone

Servis Podgorica gives a simple rule: if only the glass is cracked and the display works, a repair pays off; if the display is dead, the whole screen has to be replaced; for a phone older than 3 years consider a new one in the same class, while for a new or expensive phone a repair pays off, because according to that shop the screen costs 20 to 30% of the phone's price. If you are thinking of buying, Fijaka explains in its guide to iPhone prices that the seller is liable for 2 years for defects that existed at purchase, and that Apple adds 1 year of international warranty, which the iCentar service honours in Montenegro.

A written quote for the repair

Under the Consumer Protection Act, in force since 14 February 2026, for a repair worth more than €50 the service must give the consumer a quote specifying the work and the parts. Additional work that raises the price by more than 10% needs your prior written consent, and the invoice comes with a specification of the work done. Before you hand in the phone

iCentar asks you to back up your data, turn off Find My iPhone and update the software before you come in, because saving data is not covered by the warranty and is charged. The same applies at any shop: make a backup, write down your passcode only if the shop needs it for testing, and bring the receipt if the phone is under warranty.

Who does this on Glatko

On 25 September 2026, Glatko had one verified technician in the electronics repair category, from Berane, for phones, laptops and electronics, and no requests. The invoice of a registered service goes through the Tax Administration's electronic fiscalisation system.

What to ask the service

1. Which part you fit: original, OEM or aftermarket.
2. How long the warranty is on the part and on the work.
3. How long the repair takes and whether the part is in stock.
4. Whether diagnostics are charged if you decide against the repair.
5. Whether you will get a written quote and a fiscal receipt.

What we did not measure

The prices come from two services on the day of reading; iCentar's list dates from April 2025 and it is not clear whether it also covers the newest models. We found no published prices from an authorised Samsung service in Montenegro, and we did not check the quality of the parts.
