On 28 September 2026 a laundry basket at Okov costs from €6.29 to €32.90, with a median of €11.99 across 29 baskets. On Ananas 39 baskets cost from €3.75 to €108.70, with a median of €17.68, and at KIPS door-hung baskets cost from €19.65 to €31.90. The same 45 l Curver Filo costs €8.49 at Okov and €12.77 on Ananas, 50.4 % more.

What people search for and when

In Google Trends for Montenegro over the last 12 months, the term korpa (basket), compared with usisivac (vacuum cleaner), had an average of 5, with values of 14, 28 and 15 in September 2026. The top related queries were korpa za ves (laundry basket) and korpa za drva (firewood basket), so in autumn a firewood basket for the fireplace is searched for alongside the laundry basket.

On 28 September 2026 Google completed korpa za ves (laundry basket) with cungu, okov, jumbo, crna gora, jysk, ugradna (built-in), lubenica, pepco and ikea. So people look for shops and built-in baskets, not for a material or capacity.

Baskets at Okov

At Okov the first search page had 29 laundry baskets, from €6.29 to €32.90, with a median of €11.99, plus three built-in ones. The 39 l Rotho Jona costs €6.29 and the 55 l one with a lid €11.99. The 35 l Stefanplast Domus with handles costs €9.99, and the Elegance €11.90 for 36 l and €13.99 for 50 l. Curver has 11 baskets, from €8.49 for the 45 l Filo to €21.90 for the 57 l woven one, with a median of €13.99, and the 60 l Jute with a lid costs €19.99.

Baskets with a lid cost from €11.99 to €19.99, with a median of €13.99 across nine baskets. A folding Zeller basket costs €32.90, and 45 l and bamboo ones €21.90. A Starax built-in laundry basket costs €13.90 for 30 cm, €18.50 for 50 cm and €34.90 for 60 cm.

Baskets at KIPS and on Ananas

At KIPS the search returned 45 results, of which three freestanding laundry baskets: the Giulietta for €3.49 instead of €6.89, the 32 l Knitty for €9.62 and the 60 l Linny for €18.15. An OSCAR laundry basket that hangs on a cabinet door costs from €19.65 for 30 cm to €31.90 for 45 cm, with a median of €23.85 across 13 baskets.

On Ananas 39 baskets remained, from €3.75 to €108.70, with a median of €17.68. A 35 l Čistunica costs €8.59 and a 55 l one with a lid €14.99. Curver at Luxorplasman costs from €11.47 to €31.41, with a median of €20.53. Bolzz bamboo baskets cost from €40 to €48, a 20 l folding silicone one €25.50 and the Hanah Home Edda €108.70.

The same Curver basket and the price per litre

The 45 l Curver Filo costs €8.49 at Okov and €12.77 on Ananas, €4.28 or 50.4 % more. The 57 l woven Curver basket costs €21.90 at Okov and €31.41 on Ananas, 43.4 % more. The median is €11.99 at Okov and €17.68 on Ananas, because Ananas also has bamboo and designer baskets.

By our calculation, the 39 l Rotho Jona at Okov costs €0.16 per litre, the 45 l Curver Filo €0.19, the 35 l Čistunica on Ananas €0.25 and the 60 l Linny at KIPS €0.30. A 30 cm door-hung basket at KIPS (€19.65) costs as much as three 39 l Rotho baskets.

How long the guarantee lasts under EU rules

Article 10 of Directive (EU) 2019/771 on the sale of goods makes the seller liable for any lack of conformity that existed at delivery and becomes apparent within two years. Under Article 11, a defect that becomes apparent within the first year is presumed to have existed at delivery unless the seller proves otherwise. Under Article 13, the buyer chooses between repair and replacement, and if that fails is entitled to a price reduction or to terminate the contract. Montenegro is not an EU member, but it is worth keeping the receipt for a basket, since handles and lids usually give way first.

On Glatko

On 28 September 2026 Glatko had one verified laundry and ironing provider, from Budva, and four cleaning providers, two from Budva and one each from Bar and Podgorica.

What to check before buying

1. The capacity: 35 to 45 l for one person, 55 to 60 l for a family.
2. A lid and handles, if you carry the basket to the machine.
3. Ventilation: a woven or mesh basket lets air through better.
4. The place: freestanding, on a cabinet door or built into a unit.
5. The same product code at several sellers, since the difference reaches 50.4 %.

How we measured and what we did not measure

We copied prices from Okov, KIPS and Ananas on the day we read them, with the pre-discount price where shown; the medians, comparisons and price per litre are ours. We took capacity from the name and removed peg baskets, pump strainers, dog muzzles, corner kitchen baskets, detergent with a free basket, washbowls and vases. At Okov we read the first search page. We did not measure plastic thickness or handle strength.
