Boat Trips from Kotor and the Blue Cave: Prices of Group and Private Tours (2026)

A three-hour group boat tour from Kotor to the Blue Cave, Our Lady of the Rocks and Perast cost €25 to €49.99 per adult in September 2026, according to the published prices of five operators. A private speedboat to the Blue Cave for up to six people costs €220 to €300, and an hour on a private boat from €90.

Group tours

The widest range with prices is published by Montenegro Submarine: an hour-long bay panorama by semi-submarine costs €30 for adults and €25 for children, the two-hour tour to Perast and Our Lady of the Rocks €35 and €25, the three-hour Blue Cave tour €49.99 and €35, and the six-hour tour with a beach €85 and €65. Children under three travel free on the Blue Cave tour, and a group has up to 15 passengers.

Poseidon charges €40 per person for its three-hour tour, with insurance and fuel included. The tour covers Perast for 20 to 30 minutes, a view of Our Lady of the Rocks, the submarine tunnels for 10 minutes, a view of Mamula and the Blue Cave for 30 minutes. Boka Boat Tours offers a group tour with the Blue Cave, Our Lady of the Rocks and Mamula from €25 per person, with at most 12 passengers. Hawaii Boat Tours was offering its three-hour Blue Cave tour on sale for €34.99 instead of €60.

Private tours

A private boat is paid per boat, not per person. Montenegro Submarine charges from €90 for an hour around the bay, from €120 for an hour and a half to Perast and Our Lady of the Rocks and from €250 for three hours to the Blue Cave, and around €450 for a full six-hour day. Boka Boat Tours asks €300 for a private Blue Cave tour for up to six people, with no deposit and payment in cash on the day of the tour. KaterBlue charges from €285 for a private three-hour tour and from €375 for four hours. Hawaii Boat Tours offers a private tour for up to six people for €249.99.

Our Lady of the Rocks from Perast

If you are already in Perast, you can reach the island with a shorter ride. Visit Lady of the Rocks charges €13 per person for a seven- to ten-minute return ride, including the landing fee and entry to the church and museum, and says you spend about half an hour on the island. The same Perast operator offers a group Blue Cave tour for €35, a private one for up to six people for €220, a full six-hour day for €480 and an eight-hour one for €560, while a custom ride costs €90 per hour.

What it comes to per person

A private Blue Cave tour at €220 to €300, split between six people, comes to €36.67 to €50 per person, roughly the same as a group ticket at €25 to €49.99. For four people a private boat costs €55 to €75 per person, and for two €110 to €150. For a family or a group of five or six, a private boat is therefore close in price to a group tour, with your own schedule.

When tours depart

According to Montenegro Submarine, tours from Kotor leave from the jetty by Park Slobode from May to October, between 9 and 19 o'clock, with the Blue Cave tour at 9, 12, 15 and 18 o'clock and check-in 15 minutes before. Boka Boat Tours states that the Blue Cave is 45 to 60 minutes from Kotor by speedboat and that the light in the cave is best in the morning. In winter Montenegro Submarine runs private tours only.

What to check before booking

1. What is included: insurance, fuel, landing on the island and entry to the church.
2. How many passengers are in the group, since operators state up to 12 or up to 15.
3. How you pay, since some operators take cash on the day of the tour.
4. Children's prices and whether small children travel free.
5. Fiscal receipt: a registered operator's bill goes through the electronic fiscalisation system.

We read the prices on 24 September 2026 on the websites of the operators listed above, and where a price was on sale we also gave the regular price. Sea Stars published only starting prices, from €20 for group and from €99 for private tours, without naming the tour.
