Scales in Montenegro: kitchen and bathroom scale prices on Ananas, at Okov and KIPS, the same models in different shops and when a scale needs the M mark (2026)

On 27 September 2026 a kitchen scale on Ananas costs from €8 to €145, with a median of €13.02 across 50 listings, and a bathroom scale from €9.90 to €28.75, with a median of €15.30 across 43 listings. At Okov the kitchen scale median is €16.45 and the bathroom scale median €19.99. At KIPS scales cost from €9.99 to €27.99.

What people search for

In Google Trends for Montenegro over the last 12 months, the term vaga (scale), compared with usisivac (vacuum cleaner), had an average of 10, peaking at 53 in the week from 8 February 2026, but the term is ambiguous because Vaga is also the zodiac sign Libra. Trends listed digitalna vaga (digital scale, +160 %) and kuhinjska vaga (kitchen scale, +70 %) as rising queries. On 27 September 2026 Google completed vaga with horoskopski znak (zodiac sign), horoskop (horoscope), za merenje (for measuring), okov and za mjerenje (for measuring), and kuhinjska vaga with okov, cungu, lidl, pepco, gigatron, metalac, lidl cena (Lidl price), cena (price) and za merenje (for measuring).

Scales on Ananas

On Ananas the search returned 120 results. Without luggage, baby and pet scales, platform or hook scales and a few wrong results, 93 kitchen and bathroom scales remained, 69 of them on sale. Tehno Plus sells the most, 51 scales.

The cheapest kitchen scales are the EM TOP for €8 and the Tesla KS100BL and Beper for €9. The Sencor SKS 5038RS costs €10.97 and €12.99, the VOX KW1709 €11.05, the Gorenje KT10ORAW €33.75 and the Tefal BC50D4V0 €25.50. The most expensive is the Bosch MW911P2 at €145.

The Tesla BS102B bathroom scale costs from €9.90, the Sencor SBS 2475WH €14.45 and €14.99, the First FA-8020 €12.75, and the Gorenje OT180LBW €19.80 and €28.75. Smart scales with an app cost from €13.60 to €26.90: the Xiaomi S200 €18.70 and the Xiaomi S400 €26.35 and €26.90. Baby scales cost from €44.20 to €95.92, and platform or hook scales from €13.85 to €229.90.

Scales at Okov

At Okov the search returned 318 products, and the first page had 32 scales, 12 kitchen and 20 bathroom ones. The Sencor SKS 5032BL kitchen scale up to 5 kg costs €10.99, the Laica €12.90, the Tefal Optiss €15.99, the Sencor SKS 8080 with Bluetooth €16.99, and the stainless steel Sencor SKS 7300 up to 30 kg €36.90.

The Sencor SBS 2475WH bathroom scale costs €12.99, the Tefal Premiss €17.99, the Tefal Classic up to 180 kg €19.99 to €23.90, and the mechanical Laica up to 125 kg €16.99. The Sencor SBS 9002BK smart scale costs €35.90, and the Emos GoSmart €44.90.

Scales at KIPS

At KIPS the search returned 10 scales, five kitchen and five bathroom ones. The First FA-6409 kitchen scale costs €9.99, the First FA-6401-1 €10.69, the VOX KW-1709 €11.99, the First FA-6400 €12.39 and the Tefal BC50D4V0 €16.99. The First FA-8020 bathroom scale costs €13.49, the VOX PW-436-02 €14.49, the Tefal PP1430V0 €16.99, the Tefal PP1401V0 €17.99 and the Tefal PP1600V0 €27.99.

Mechanical scales without a battery are rare. On Ananas we found two, the First FA-8020 floor scale for €12.75 and the Sigma kitchen scale up to 5 kg for €13.04, and at Okov one, the Laica bathroom scale up to 125 kg for €16.99. All the other scales in the review are digital.

Same model, different price

By our calculation, the Tefal BC50D4V0 kitchen scale costs €16.99 at KIPS and €25.50 on Ananas, a difference of €8.51. The Sencor SBS 2475WH bathroom scale costs €12.99 at Okov and €14.45 on Ananas. The VOX KW1709 is €0.94 cheaper on Ananas than at KIPS, and the First FA-8020 €0.74. So compare the model code in two or three shops before buying.

When a scale needs the M mark

Directive 2014/31/EU on non-automatic weighing instruments distinguishes between uses of a scale. The essential requirements of Annex I apply to scales used for commercial transactions, for calculating a toll, tax or penalty, for applying laws or expert opinions in court, for weighing patients in medicine, for making up medicines in a pharmacy and for determining the price by weight in sales. For other uses, such as cooking or weighing yourself at home, those requirements do not apply. A scale used for sales carries the CE and a supplementary metrology marking: the capital letter M and the last two digits of the year, in a rectangle.

On Glatko

On 27 September 2026 Glatko had two verified nutrition and diet providers from Budva, and two home cooking providers, from Budva and Herceg Novi.

What to check before buying

1. Capacity and division: a kitchen scale up to 5 or 10 kg in 1 g steps.
2. A bathroom scale up to 150 or 180 kg.
3. The tare function for weighing in a bowl.
4. An app if you track fat and muscle mass.
5. The M mark if you use the scale for sales.

We copied prices from Ananas, Okov and KIPS on the day we read them; the groups, medians and same-model comparisons are ours. We took the type from the name and removed luggage, baby and pet scales, platform or hook scales and products that are not scales. At Okov we read the first page of the search. We did not measure the accuracy of the scales.
