High Chairs in Montenegro: Baby High Chair Prices on Ananas, 2-in-1, Reclining and Wooden Models and What the EU Requires of High Chairs (2026)

A high chair, in Montenegro more often called a hranilica, costs from €39.99 to €207 on Ananas on 27 September 2026, with a median of €103.90 across 99 listings. 2-in-1 models cost from €44, with a median of €83.60, and reclining high chairs from €72 to €179.90. KIPS and Okov had no high chairs on offer that day.

What people search for

In Google Trends for Montenegro over the last 12 months, the term hranilica (high chair), compared with usisivac (vacuum cleaner), had a value in only two weeks, 4 each in the weeks from 13 and 20 September 2026, and Trends listed hranilica za bebe (baby high chair) as a rising query. On 27 September 2026 Google completed stolica za hranjenje (high chair) with beba (baby), ikea, za sto (for the table), aksa, kupujemprodajem, drvena (wooden) and polovna (second-hand). So people look for wooden high chairs, chairs that clip onto a table and second-hand high chairs.

Cheaper high chairs

On Ananas 80 of the 99 listings were marked as on sale. The cheapest is the BBO Junior at €39.99, and the Kikka Boo Pappo costs €44 and €45. The Jungle Foldy, a single-position high chair, costs €51 from the seller GROUP TRADE and €52.99 from Bambina shop. The Jungle Bubble costs €58.50, the Kinderkraft Binci €68, and the Kinderkraft Foldee €85.50.

The same model is priced differently by different sellers. The Jungle Cookie costs €72 from GROUP TRADE and €74.99 from Bambina shop, a difference of €2.99. The Moni Rico costs €72.99, the Cangaroo Almond €72.99, and the Cangaroo Lindo with two gifts €94.99.

Mid-range and more expensive models

The Colibro Noto costs €108, the Colibro Scandi €110.50 in four colours, and the wooden KikkaBoo Nordy €108 in four colours. The Kikka Boo Olive costs €116, and the Olive 2 €125. The Kinderkraft Yummy costs €119, the Kinderkraft Enock €121.50, the Kinderkraft Tummie €126, and the Kinderkraft Tulo €165.75. The BBO Bella costs €144.99, and the Kidnort Yordgubbe €141.10.

Reclining high chairs have a backrest that lowers. The Jungle Cookie and Moni Rico cost from €72 to €72.99, and the Chicco Polly Armonia €169 in three colours. The Peg Perego Prima Pappa Follow me costs €169.90 and €179.90.

2-in-1 high chairs convert into a chair or a small table. The Kikka Boo Jammy costs €44, the Eco Toys 2-in-1 from €59.50 to €68, the Kikka Boo Nutri €71.20, and the Kikka Boo Woody 6-in-1 €96. The Freeon EOS 3-in-1 costs €103.90, the Kinderkraft Tixi €127.50, the Kinderkraft Fini from €136 to €144, and the Kinderkraft Lastree from €178.50 to €182.75. The Kikka Boo Sleat Me, a cradle and high chair in one, costs €200, and the most expensive is the Kinderkraft Fini Up at €207.

On Ananas high chairs are sold by three sellers: GROUP TRADE has 77 listings, and Donator and Bambina shop 11 each. At KIPS the search returned 106 ordinary chairs, and at Okov garden, bar and bathroom chairs, but not a single high chair.

Price and calculation

By our calculation, a reclining high chair at the median costs €65 more than other high chairs. 2-in-1 high chairs at the median are €20.30 cheaper than all high chairs, because that group has many cheap Eco Toys and Kikka Boo models. The cheapest high chair with a reclining backrest, the Jungle Cookie at €72, costs €32.01 more than the cheapest high chair. What the EU requires of a high chair

In point 3 of its Annex, Commission Decision 2013/121/EU describes a high chair as a chair for children who can sit up unaided, from about six months to 36 months, weighing at most 15 kg. A high chair must have an adjustable restraint system with at least a waist restraint and a crotch restraint, and it must not be possible to use the restraint without the crotch restraint. If the backrest reclines, the high chair must have an integral harness. It must have lateral protection, a high enough backrest and stability that prevents it from tipping backwards when a child pushes against the table with their feet. Folding high chairs must have a lock that prevents folding while a child is in them.

On Glatko

On 27 September 2026 Glatko had one verified furniture assembly provider from Podgorica and three verified deep cleaning providers: two from Budva and one from Podgorica.

What to check before buying

1. A five-point harness, or at least a waist and crotch restraint.
2. The age and weight the high chair is intended for.
3. A folding lock on folding models.
4. A removable tray that can be washed.
5. The price at several sellers, because the same model varies.

How we measured and what we did not measure

We copied prices from Ananas on the day we read them; we removed feeders for animals and bees and teethers, and we set the type from the name. The groups and medians are ours, and we counted the same models in different colours as separate listings, as Ananas does. We did not check compliance with standards or the safety of individual models, and KIPS and Okov had no high chairs.
