An hour of shooting costs €90 to €450, and 12 hours €1,200 to €5,400. In Google Trends for Montenegro, svadba (wedding party) peaked in October 2025 and February 2026, but the rising queries were svadba film 2026 and svadba glumci (cast), so that interest was about a film, not weddings; fotograf did not have enough searches for a curve, and with vjencanje the top search was cestitke za vjencanje (wedding greetings).

Longer package, cheaper hour
Photographers do not offer the same package lengths, so the medians for different hours do not come from the same group of photographers. Within a single price list the difference is clear: with one Kotor photographer 2 hours cost €400 and 12 hours €1,500, so an hour in the longer package comes to €125 instead of €200. So before comparing, check how many hours you really need: for the ceremony alone many photographers offer packages of 1 or 2 hours, and if you also want the preparations, portraits and party, compare packages of 8 to 12 hours.
Price tiers according to a studio
The studio Saint Weddings, which shoots weddings on the coast, gives an estimate of full-day price tiers in an article of 26 July 2026 and says Montenegro is the least expensive of the Adriatic wedding countries, except for the One&Only Portonovi and Aman Sveti Stefan hotels:

Light, location and boat
According to the same studio, the mountains of the Bay of Kotor hide the sun up to ninety minutes before the official sunset, so the schedule for a wedding in Kotor or Perast should be built against the real horizon, while at Sveti Stefan and on the Budva riviera the light lasts to the end of the day. The studio also notes that registrars marry couples outside official premises, but that their schedule often fixes the hour of the ceremony, and it recommends photographing Perast and Our Lady of the Rocks from a second boat; trip prices are in our guide to the boat trip from Kotor.
Marrying a foreigner and paperwork
According to the Capital City of Podgorica, the marriage application is filed at least 15 days before the wedding, and the fee is €20 for a wedding in official premises and €100 at another suitable place. A foreigner submits a birth certificate and a certificate of single status, not older than 3 months, with an apostille and a court interpreter's translation. Marriage to a Montenegrin citizen also opens a route to citizenship, and after recent amendments to the Citizenship Act the same route applies to a registered life partnership, as RoNa Legal explains in its note on the naturalisation conditions. Plan the paperwork before the photographer, because the ceremony date depends on the registry office.
