Which mop for which floor
Microfibre picks up dust and hair and needs less water and detergent, so it suits parquet, laminate and everyday wiping. A chenille pad with thick loops soaks up more water and lifts dirt well from tiles, while a cotton strip mop is for larger areas and terraces. A triangular mop reaches into corners and under furniture, and a mop with a telescopic handle adjusts to your height.
A set with a bucket and wringer, by hand or with a pedal, suits a larger flat, because you wring the mop out well and leave no puddles. A spray mop is faster for quick passes through the kitchen and hallway, but the tank needs washing and the pad replacing. What the EU requires on detergent packaging
In Article 11(3), Regulation (EC) No 648/2004 on detergents requires detergent packaging to state the contents in line with Annex VII A, along with instructions for use and special precautions where needed. Under Annex VII A, on detergents sold to the general public, constituents such as phosphates, surfactants, oxygen-based and chlorine-based bleaching agents and soap are stated in the ranges less than 5 %, 5 to 15 %, 15 to 30 % and 30 % and more when they exceed 0.2 % by weight. Enzymes, disinfectants, optical brighteners and perfumes are listed regardless of amount, and allergenic fragrances when they exceed 0.01 %.
Montenegro is not an EU member, but the same rules help at home: read on the label what the product contains and how much to use, because too much detergent leaves a sticky film on the floor. Never mix chlorine products with ammonia or acidic limescale removers, because toxic gases form, and when cleaning open a window and wear gloves.

The set-with-bucket row includes only sets that name a bucket in the product name. We did not measure how long a pad lasts or how well a mop cleans.
