Ash vacuums in Montenegro: prices of corded and cordless ash vacuums for fireplaces and stoves from Ribimex, Lavor, Kärcher, Fieldmann and Bormann (2026)

On 28 September 2026 an ash vacuum costs from €29.75 for the Fieldmann FDU 200601 on Ananas to €191.25 for the Kärcher AD 4 Premium on the same site, with a median of €55.30 across 19 vacuums from three shops. Corded ash vacuums have a median of €49.90, and the two cordless models cost €55.30 and €59.90.

An ash vacuum pays off for anyone who burns a fireplace, a wood stove or a pellet stove, because it collects ash from the firebox and ash pan without spreading dust around the room. On 28 September 2026 Google completed usisivac za pepeo with cena (price) and iskustva (experiences) and with the names of shops and sites okov, lidl, uradi sam, woby haus, tehnomanija, gigatron and kupujemprodajem. So buyers compare prices across shops, look for other buyers' experiences and check used vacuums in classified ads.

Ash vacuums at Okov

At Okov the search for usisivač za pepeo returned 8 vacuums, with a median of €49.90. The Ribimex with 800 W and a 15 l container and the Ribimex with 1200 W and an 18 l container cost €39.90 each, and the Ribimex with 1200 W on wheels €49.90. The Lavor Ashley with 1000 W and the Lavor Ashley 411 cost €49.90 each, and the Kärcher AD 2 with 600 W €174.90.

The cordless Graphite with 18 V and a 15 l container without a battery costs €59.90, and the Lavorwash Free VAC €55.30 instead of the regular €79. As accessories Okov sells a hose for €16.99, three filter bags for the Lavor Ashley for €14.90, a filter for Black+Decker for €10.90 and a HEPA filter for Ribimex for €6.99.

Ash vacuums at KIPS and on Ananas

KIPS had one ash vacuum, the AGM with 800 W for €41.90, plus a filter for €7.90 and a bag for €2.69.

Ananas had 10 vacuums, with a median of €61.83. The Fieldmann FDU 200601 costs €29.75, the FDU 201001 €41.65 and the FDU 2002 €63.75. The Bormann BVC1000 Lite costs €45.50 and the Bormann BVC1010 with 1400 W and a 20 l container €75.60. The Fisher FJ103P costs €57.80, the Yamato Cinix with 800 W and a 15 l container €59.90 and the Alfa Plam €87.30. The Kärcher AD 2 costs €148.75 here, so less than at Okov, and the Kärcher AD 4 Premium €191.25. A spare filter for the Yamato costs €6.45, a HEPA filter for the Bormann €9.28 and another filter €7.35.

Which ash vacuum to choose

An ash vacuum has a metal container, a metal hose and suction tube and a filter that holds back fine dust, so the ash does not spread around the room. For a fireplace or stove you clean once a week a cheap corded vacuum with a 15 to 18 l container is enough. Pricier models such as the Kärcher AD 2 and AD 4 Premium have a filter cleaning system, so the vacuum keeps pulling at full power for longer when the filter gets dirty, and a bigger container means emptying it less often. A cordless vacuum is handy if the stove is not near a socket, but the battery is often sold separately.

The ash must be completely cold. Embers in the ash can smoulder for hours, and the airflow in the vacuum fans them inside the container, so it is safest to clean the firebox in the morning after a night without a fire. An ordinary vacuum and a wet and dry vacuum are not for ash: the fine dust clogs the filter and passes through it, and a plastic container can melt. At Okov the Kärcher WD 2 Plus costs €91.50 and the WD3 €104.90, but these are wet and dry vacuums, not ash vacuums. Before buying, read the manual and check what the manufacturer says about the temperature of the ash.

What the EU requires of solid fuel stoves

Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/1185 on the ecodesign of solid fuel local space heaters provides in Article 3 that the requirements of Annex II apply from 1 January 2022. Annex II limits particulate matter emissions: for open fronted heaters, such as an open fireplace, to 50 mg/m³ at 13 % oxygen, and for closed fronted heaters using fuel other than pellets and for solid fuel cookers to 40 mg/m³. The same annex requires a seasonal space heating energy efficiency of at least 79 % for closed fronted pellet heaters and 65 % for cookers.

Montenegro is not an EU member, but the stoves in our shops are mostly made for the European market. A newer stove burns fuel more completely and leaves less fine ash and soot, but the ash from the firebox still needs regular cleaning, and the chimney once a year.
