On 29 September 2026 mains LED floodlights cost from €3.49 for a 10 W floodlight at KIPS to €129.90 for a 200 W Emos Profi Inovo at Okov, with a median of €17.99 across 43 floodlights from two shops. 50 W floodlights have a median of €22.90, 100 W ones €30.90, and those with a motion sensor €16.49. Solar floodlights cost from €46.99 to €89.49, and cordless ones from €34.90 to €419.90.

Floodlights at Okov
At Okov we took 32 floodlights from the first page of the search, with a median of €22.90. The Emos Glaro costs €4.99 for 10 W, €6.99 for 20 W, €8.99 for 30 W, €12.99 for 50 W and €26.90 for 100 W, and the Glaro with a motion sensor €14.99 for 20 W, €17.99 for 30 W and €22.90 for 50 W. The Osram FL LUX costs €4.99 for 10 W, €14.49 for 30 W, €16.99 for 50 W and €34.90 for 100 W, and the Ledvance Essential €16.99 for 20 W, €22.90 for 30 W and €28.90 for 50 W.
The Emos Profi Inovo costs from €21.90 for 20 W to €129.90 for 200 W, and with a sensor at 50 W €46.90. The Elmark Helios costs €44.99 for 150 W and €54.90 for 200 W, and the portable Adviti Portax with a cable €24.90 for 30 W and €29.90 for 50 W. Cordless floodlights cost €34.90 for a Total without battery, €69.90 for a Forres and €149.25 for a Bosch GLI without battery and charger.
Floodlights at KIPS
At KIPS we took 22 floodlights from two searches, with a median of €27.93. Unbranded 6500 K floodlights cost €3.49 for 10 W, €5.49 for 20 W, €8.49 for 30 W, €13.99 for 50 W, €19.99 for 100 W and €36.99 for 200 W, and with a sensor €8.49 for 10 W, €10.99 for 20 W, €12.99 for 30 W and €17.99 for 50 W. Pila 4000 K floodlights cost €11.99 for 10 W, €19.36 for 20 W and €35.87 for 50 W, and a 200 W Commel €65.17.
Solar floodlights cost €46.99 for 50 W, €69.49 for 100 W and €89.49 for 150 W. Cordless Ingco models cost €37.90 without battery, €49.90 and €69.90, and Makita €161.17 and €419.90.
How much light you get per euro
The 50 W Emos Glaro gives 5000 lm for €12.99, about €2.60 per 1000 lm, while the 50 W Emos Profi Inovo gives 5500 lm for €34.90, about €6.35 per 1000 lm. The 10 W Osram FL LUX gives 900 lm for €4.99, and the 100 W one 9000 lm for €34.90. More expensive floodlights usually have better heat dissipation, a sturdier housing and a longer warranty, while cheaper ones often do not state the luminous flux, so they are harder to compare.
Which floodlight to choose
For an entrance and a small yard a 20 to 30 W floodlight is enough, and for a bigger yard, a car park or a building site 50 to 100 W. A floodlight with a motion sensor switches on only when someone passes and saves electricity, and warmer light of 3000 to 4000 K dazzles less than cold light of 6500 K. Aim the floodlight downwards at the area you are lighting, not at the neighbours' windows and the sky.
For outdoor mounting look for water protection of at least IP65, and protect the cable and the connection in the junction box from rain. Solar floodlights need no cable but give less light in winter, while cordless ones are for work and camping, not for permanent lighting. A floodlight for permanent outdoor lighting should be connected to a circuit with an RCD.

What EU rules say about the energy label
Regulation (EU) 2017/1369 on energy labelling requires in Article 5 that the dealer, including in online selling, visibly displays the energy label for models covered by a delegated act and makes the product information sheet available to customers. Article 6 adds that visual advertisements and technical promotional material for a specific model refer to the energy efficiency class and the range of classes on the label.
Montenegro is not an EU member, and neither Okov nor KIPS stated an energy class in the floodlight names, so we do not give one here. Wattage and luminous flux in lumens from the names are the only data by which we could compare floodlights, so before buying look for the information sheet or the label on the box.

- Colour temperature: 3000 to 4000 K for a yard.

How we measured and what we did not measure
We copied prices from Okov and KIPS on the day of the check; we calculated the medians and the price per lumen ourselves. We did not count track spotlights or solar wall lights, and at Okov we took only the first page of the search. Wattage, lumens and colour temperature were taken from product names. We did not measure actual luminous flux, energy class or water protection.
