Home CCTV in Montenegro: Prices of Cameras and Kits with a Recorder, Wi-Fi Cameras and the Rules for Apartment Buildings (2026)

A CCTV kit with four or eight cameras and a recorder cost from €320 to €564 in Podgorica on 25 September 2026, or from €272 to €479.40 with a one-off payment: those were the prices of all seven kits at the Podgor shop. A single camera started at €11.48 at PC-Gamer, and Dahua cameras at DSS cost from €24 to €115. None of the installers we looked at publishes an installation price.

What people search for

On 25 September 2026 Google completed video nadzor (video surveillance) with crna gora (Montenegro), podgorica, niksic and za kucu (for a house), and video nadzor crna gora with zakon (law), bar and prodaja kamera (camera sales). It completed video nadzor cijena (video surveillance price) with kamere (cameras), za kucu, preko mobitela (via mobile phone) and bežične kamere (wireless cameras), and kamere za video nadzor (surveillance cameras) with preko telefona (via phone) and wifi. In English people search for cctv montenegro; in Russian there were no suggestions.

Kit prices

A kit usually consists of cameras, a recorder with or without a hard disk, and a power supply. Podgor had seven kits, and for each it gives a regular price and a lower price for a one-off payment. How we choose and label price sources is explained on our page on how we measure prices.

The one-off payment price is 15% below the regular price for all seven kits. The cheapest eight-camera kit, a Hikvision with four indoor and four outdoor 2 Mpix cameras and a 1 TB disk, cost less than the kit with four Wi-Fi cameras.

Single camera prices

If you are adding cameras to an existing recorder or need just one for a flat, prices are lower:

Seven Wi-Fi cameras, among them YI Pro, XO CR01, Samsa V380 and two Botslab indoor cameras, cost from €20 to €30 in PC-Gamer's web shop; several list a microSD card slot. A house with a yard needs outdoor cameras with night vision and a recorder, because a Wi-Fi camera without a recorder usually keeps recordings on a card or in the cloud.

Installation

The installers we looked at, Elektro sistemi Džabić and Telecorp in Podgorica, offer sales, installation and servicing but do not publish an installation price; Džabić writes that the price depends on several factors and should be asked for by phone. A third site, where a price for a system "with service" appeared in search results, we did not use, because on 25 September 2026 the internet provider showed a warning that the page was risky instead of the site.

When you ask for an installation quote, ask:

1. Whether the price includes cable, a junction box and the power supply, or only labour.
2. How many metres of cable are included and who drills the walls.
3. Disk capacity: how many days of recordings fit on it with your number of cameras.
4. Setting up viewing on your phone and who keeps the passwords.
5. Receipt: a registered installer issues a fiscal receipt through the Tax Administration's electronic fiscalisation system.

Example: a house with four cameras

This is our calculation from the published prices, not a quote:

• A kit of four cameras and a recorder: from €272 with a one-off payment to €320 regular, for the cheapest Longse kit.
• If you need eight cameras: the Hikvision kit from €316.20 to €372, with a 1 TB disk.
• Installation: price on request; ask two or three installers for the same description.

Cameras in an apartment building

Under the previous Personal Data Protection Law (Official Gazette 79/08, 70/09 and 44/12), in an apartment building the entrance and exit of the building and common areas may be filmed, with the written consent of the assembly of unit owners. Consent is given if owners holding more than 70% of the ownership of the building, wing or entrance vote for it, and entrances to flats may not be filmed. According to a PV Informer report of 5 September, the Parliament of Montenegro adopted a new Personal Data Protection Law aligned with the GDPR in early September 2026; we did not check how it regulates video surveillance in buildings, so check the rules in the final text before putting cameras in common areas.

Who installs on Glatko

On 25 September 2026 Glatko had no separate category for video surveillance. Cables and power for cameras are an electrician's job; the platform had eight verified electricians, six in Podgorica and two in Budva. None of the 25 requests the platform received between 24 April and 28 June 2026 concerned video surveillance. More on choosing an electrician is in our guide to electricians in Podgorica.

What we did not measure

We found no published installation prices. At PC-Gamer and DSS we saw only the first page of the camera category, so dearer models are not in the table. We did not check the quality of the equipment, hard disk prices, or the text of the new law.
